Oh I like an older man

I'm glad you survived too! Who else would indulge me with updates on what undies they have on (if any).

P.S. - I thought both of them were phenomenal tonight but Scott just pipped Kara
You can have your Scott, I'll have Kara! Happy days!

I'm glad to say he been a vegetarian since he was 14. He supports The Vegetarian Society and did a great interview for them this year, he was voted PETA sexiest veggie last year. He looks as lean as always. A very young looking 39 year old man, who is rightly unimpressed by Gavin's boosting. When his mate Jimi, who was much better than Gavin was kicked off the show, it's stupid and arrogant to brag.
It was meant to be a joke, not to start people having a post about him being a vegetarian. I really don't care what he eats as long as he is well. sometimes we all get a bit heavy on here. It's such a shame when we get like this.

I thought he looked very unwell lately... was wondering if that was behind the lack-lustre showing last week. I get the feeling there's something going on in the background that we're not being told - just little off-the-cuff comments here and there that make me wonder if something quite serious is being shushed up. I really hope he's okay and it's just a dose of the usual winter rubbish. Hope he takes a break in the sun after this and gets himself right.

SCD - just wanted to say I hope you're feeling back to your best now. Sounds like you've been through hell. My own health took a nosedive earlier this year, still trying to glue myself back together. It's very frightening when weight starts dropping off... especially for a lifelong foodaholic!

He is looking very gaunt and thin, and it's aging him. Frightening to see the change since the start.

Oh, I became a part-time vegetarian too (occasionally I eat fish). I stay away from dairy products like cheese, yohurt and milk too and three to four times a week I have basically vegan meals, weekends I spoil myself with seafood meals. Glad to know that Scott seems to take care of himself this way.

Can't believe that people take Gavin seriously when he talks big, though... Lighten up, folks, he knows he's never going to match Scott or even Matt when it comes to dancing, he's just joshing!
There is no such thing as a part time vegetarian. You eat fish so you eat animals, vegetarian's don't eat any animals or sweets, cakes, cheese that contain gelatin. People you who eat fish but not meat are pestcitarians.
Scott doesn't not eat animals (obviously that includes Chicken and seafood ) nor do I.

I think Pam has lost 2 stone and Patsy has done down 2 dress sizes, so it's just natural that if he was lean to begin with he would look even thinner as the weight fell off.
I'm more concerned about Michelle.

Most vegetarians I know tend to need to eat often. Perhaps Natalie's training regime is not giving Scott time to eat enough. If you have been ill it is vital to build your strength back up or it does you no favours at all.

I don't need to eat often, 3 meals a day, fruit during morning break and I have an active full time job. He's fine, I think the dancer all have fruit breaks.

I don't adopt vegetarianism because of some kind of philosophy (not wanting to kill animals etc.), I do it (albeit 'part-time') for health reasons. I said 'part-time' because many of my vegetarian meals are actually vegan but I was told by my oncologist to eat fish, as it's very difficult for a cancer patient to stay completely vegan. Again, I avoid lactose in my diet because of my health conditions, nothing more. Perhaps I shouldn't say I am a part-time vegetarian, I know I will always rile the purists! Sorry, if that helps.

Between his day job & training he has been given very little time to eat. If all you are doing is grabbing what you can when you can you are not eating properly or enough. Which is what Scott seems to be doing.

I'm veggie to, primarily for health reasons initially although I continue for ethical ones, I don't eat dairy, but still eat fish on occasion! Just wanted to chip in to say I always describe myself as vegetarian; it's easier and people know what you mean when you say it as opposed to the blank looks you get for pescitarian!! Hope the diet is doing it's trick and that you continue to stay in good health.

Anyway, that was a sidetrack, just to say Scott is looking very thin, saying earlier that he must be a continuity nightmare, and I hope he's upped his calorie intake (or will do) to match his physical exertion, to keep his health ticking over.

Yes, Scott should simply up his calorie intake, not simply consuming rubbish. Methinks he's eating more than usual, just not enough. And the flu, lack of rest by the look of it, and his punishing working schedule, all these are NOT helping him!

I agree, plus he is a wirey character anyway who is never going to put on much weight. So it will show quickly in his appearence if he is not eating properly plus under stress. I don't know how many hours a day he's putting in to train for SCD but it must be quite a lot to achieve the perfection attained in tonights jive.

Last thing, I only mentioned Scott's diet because he does eat healthy and all the dancers have lost weight including the professionals.
People who call themselves vegetarians but eat fish, chicken, gelatin make life unbearable for REAL vegetarians. I go into restaurants and have menus labelled wrong because alot of people don't realise fish are animals. I always phone environmental health, who I'm pleased to say correct them very quickly so please stop doing it as it's lying and confuses people.

I agree, it was a good number - been thinking he may start to stop losing weight and tone up instead, but it keeps dropping off by the look of it; wonder how much he's filming for EE at the mo (he is still in it I'm guessing?)

Not sure you can blame restaurant menu labelling on people who call themselves veggie, a quick search on the internet would tell chefs and those who design menus, who should know anyway, the difference - even wikipedia has it right!! Glad environmental health is quick to pick it up though

Oh dear. Sorry about your bad experience in the restaurants.

However, I didn't say I am "a vegetarian that eat fish", I said I am a 'part-time' vegetarian, and qualify by saying on those non vegetarian/vegan days, I have fish.

I have stopped going to restaurants since I had cancer because now I prepare everything from scratch. I try to avoid processed, pre-packed meals, though I am hooked on pre-packed Innocent smoothies!

Scott's fans should start to bring healthful vegetarian food to the dance studio for him to fatten him up!!!
