Scott's going to be such a bad loser
You can tell from his attitude when Gavin joked about him being the bottom of the men last week.
All this 'I'm too mature' stuff, yeah right, that's why your dance included a kiss for Bruno too. |

Don't buy too much into this macho competitiveness that BBC is wont to create year after year. Darren Gough and Colin Jackson, Gethin Jones and Matt Di Angelo, Austin Healey and Tom Chambers and now they are trying to do a Scott and Gavin. So boring! |

Good grief!
It's all banter. They are having the time of their lives. They are both competitive and would love to win, but they know how it works. I hate it when people impose unpleasant characteristics on contestants. Isn't the show interesting enough for you? |

It's my opinion from what I saw tonight, Gavin was joking and Scott didn't look over happy. The producers do try to set contestents up against each other, but they can't make them do copy cat aspects of another pairs routine. Just seemed a little childish to me.

I am aware Gavin was joking, I did say that in my post you know.
Btw, labelling members as WUMs isn't allowed. ![]() Scott is going to be competitive to be sure, but I don't think Scott is humourless and will understand where Gavin is coming from. |

Each to their own... I find Gavin intensely vapid and irritating. I doubt he has the mental complexity to even attempt irony. And he certainly seems up his own backside enough to honestly believe he can out-dance Matt or Scott.
Scott doesn't strike me as the sore loser type. He strikes me as someone very talented and hardworking, who knows he has talent and yeah, perhaps he is at pains to make sure he seems appropriately humble sometimes, but he knows he's good... and why the hell shouldn't he? I think he has every right to be a tad irked when Gavin The Plank Henson takes a swipe. I was more irritated by Alesha's 'out-dancing' comment last week, which was pretty inane, really. It's one thing to try to bolster someone's confidence, but inflating an already overblown ego with total codswallop isn't the best idea, in my opinion. |

I agree that's what it looked like, but if they hadnt cut from Scott exactly after he said he was more mature, I am sure we would have seen him doing something quite the opposite. This is the man who imitates monkeys to loosen himself up after all. You can't do that and take yourself as seriously as the Beeb tried to make us believe.

First of all I thought they were trying to make Gavin look arrogant, then the mature comment from Scott. I don't think (for me) the kiss from whatsherface to Bruno was a good idea, it did look like 'oh we can do that too'

How do you know that Natalie (who is whatsherface) planned the kiss after she saw Gavin's kiss? Maybe it was Katya who stole the idea from Natalie? It's fair enough that you don't like Scott and Natalie and that you prefer Gavin and Katya (I like them both equally well), but your reasons seem a bit spurious.
)Yes, you could be right and it was the other way round, maybe I am looking for conspiracy too much, but I did just think 'bad move' when natalie (thanks, I forgot her name!) went for the kiss. |

To me Alesha didn't overstate the point that Gavin did better than Scott last week. Scott's rhumba was dire.
But, he's back and his jive is a revelation. ![]() The jive was something else, wasn't it! Natalie's choreography was amazing and Scott just nailed it. Not sure what Craig found to knock the point off, but I guess he's just saving the big one for the later rounds as usual. |

I really want to dislike Gavin, he's Welsh and should behave like a proper Welsh man, none of this bloody fake tan shit.
But there's something sort of endearing about him. *vomits* |

It -was- dire, but I'd still rather watch him than Gavin! Pretty sure Scott could break his ankle and still hobble through a routine with more charisma than Mr. St. Tropez.

Matt may be like Mark Ramprakash and Matt Di Angelo, not getting tens and when it happens, scores a perfect 40!

Gavin is EPIC. The couple of weeks he kept going on about meeting his idol - Peter Andre - I was literally crying with laughter.

Both kisses were planned as part of their routines. Presumably they were rehearsed all week, before they even knew which order they were dancing in.
