I'll repeat what I have posted elsewhere.
I love to watch excellent dance as much as anyone, but I think Ann and others before her, show that dance is for everyone, young, old, fit, unfit, perfect rhythm or two left feet, Dance is to be enjoyed and to have fun, she is showing that imo.
If she and others before her encourage others who feel intimidated by glitz and glamour to take it up, then all is well with the world.
This is a celebrity dance/ entertainment show, not one of the participants will suffer any undue hardship other than to their egos if they don't hold the naff trophy aloft.

People grieve in different ways. Apparently he loved her being in the competition and his family asked her to continue. OK if you don't like her. But don't assume how she felt when her brother died. That is totally below the belt.
