and certainly not the weakest on X factor but one who has been made the panto villain this year and some folk just like taking a pot shot.

I would not be suprised if Katie does very well after X Factor.
Her performances are good and I like her voice.
She is one of my favourite performers in the competition as are Mary, Matt and sometimes Aiden when he isn't nervous.
Lovely as she is Rebecca's singing style is beginning to bore me. And I am not that keen on Cher's style because I hate the rapping.
Paije is OK too but he has had poor song choices.
One DIrection? just another boyband - I hope that Liam goes solo.
Wagner - my go to the kitchen and make a cup of tea moment.

Sorry but Katie is my cup of tea moment.

Her performance was the weakest after Wagner's yesterday. She tried to put a rock slant on it put it fell short of any oompth. It was insignificant.

Sorry but she was rubbish last night, I prefer her sing-offs... they are slightly entertaining and unpredictable. Will she cry, faint, sit? It's all very exciting!

Katie is loads better than some left in.

She is better than Wagner and Cher and that's about it!

She is not the worst, but don't try to kid yourself that she is a "great" singer.

She should be a Chorus Girl in a West End Show. Just not good enough for the lead.

well the West end do take the best do they not. But for me she is one of the better singers this year but she has had to put up with being this year's fall guy. But real music buff's will see her as being one of the better singers this year with her own identity stamp.

She's not the worst singer but definitely not the best. She's usually bottom 3 for me.

Katie did have a poor performance last night admittedly the wrong song choice same could be said of Paije though as both would have benefitted from ballads.

I think Katie is bringing up the rear with Wagner, Paige, and Mary. In footballing terms they are in the relegation zone

very true but apart from Aiden who is marmite for many last night was not great for all acts.

I thought her voice was simply too weak last night, and as a result the song was just flat (as in no energy, not off key) , she isnt thr worst in the competition though, Wagner, wand erection, Cher was awful last night I thought, as was Aiden -again - and Mary , as we can now see, can do really well at one very very limited niche, but give her anything else and she is totally lost.

Off key and out of breath before the end of each line. As usual.

Weak voice proven by last nights song. I wonder how many more she'll murder before she loses Cowells support.

I don't think we have many strong singers this year - it seems to be more about performance - Aiden's intensity, Cher's swagger, Wagner's all-round insanity generate far more comments than their vocal ability. The better singers like John and Treyc left early, criticised for not being interesting enough. But Katie really really can't sing well enough to think she has a career ahead of her as a vocalist. There is no gap in the market for a girl with a croaky voice, terrible tuning and unoriginal styling.

Katie is, IMO, the best of Cheryl's girls. Rebecca is overated and Cher is pitiful.

I think Katie does come over as a real pain in the neck but that doesn't make her a bad performer. I really like Katie's voice.

I thought her performance last night was dire.

Katie is, without question, the weakest act left bar Wagner. I am completely flabbergasted by any praise for her singing ability, of which there is none.

She was awful last night, off key out of time and out of tune. But none of them have the X factor, the Z factor possibly.

Last night's perforance was easily her worst. She has no power in her voice, so the only way to get volume is to shout - which is unfortunately what she did, thoughout the song.

I judge her on her performances and I have yet to see one where she has convinced me that she is a strong performer.

Katie should keep her mouth shut and not piss around with all the fainting crap etc, then maybe she wouldn't be painted as the panto villian, she only has herself to blame.

That is actually quite insulting to some very good singers who do make the chorus in the West End....

I agree but even then she would be limited - go and see "We will Rock You" and then say that she is good enough for that - her "rock" performance last night was a joke and she would be shown up big time in that production
