I am loving this series, but series 5 was my favourite - partly because it was the only time I got to be in the audience. Unlike others on here I like the props, and I do think that some of the changes work. Still missing Matt Cutler, Ian, Darren and Lilia though!

I think it's the best since series 5, definitely. I'll have to wait til the end to say whether I prefer it to series 5 or not but it's certainly the first year since then I've been so involved and cared so much about the outcome. The only thing holding me back from saying it's definitely better so far is that the judge's were a lot more strict back then and the celebs benefited from it I think. I'm not talking about Arlene BTW, I mean Len and Bruno were less excitable and a lot more likely to award lower scores. Plus I'll have to see whether dancing wins out in the end, like it did in series 5, to say whether it's just as good or better.

For me it certainly is one of the best series of SCD, The best series for me was when Mark Ramprakash was on.

I don't think it's the best series yet. Series 4 & 5 hold that title for me so far. Personally, though, I feel like this series completely stomps all over series 6 & 7, both of which (with the exceptions of Austin & Jade) bored me quite a lot. The last two series have by no means been bad, just...... dull. In my opinion. This series has really brought it back up for me.

Not that I'd complain if they got rid of the ridicilous prop usage.

Series 2, 3 and 5 would have to be my favourites, the good old days! ”

Couldn't have put it better myself

I agree.

With Arleen, Ian, Matt & Darren still on board, without the excruciating props, with dance offs, this could have been a cracking series.

I quite like this years series, its certainly better than it has been for the past couple of years
Series 4 remains my fave, then series 5, then this series

Not for me. I've found it difficult to engage in the series or the couples this year. I loved "some" of the dances but, there have been far too many props and routines that faffed around with the beginning of the routines for me to enjoy it as much as previous series. I can count on one hand how many ITTs and results shows I've watched. The emotional investment in any of the couples isn't there for me this year and I really don't care who wins/loses. Sorry folks but, that is just how I feel, I know a lot of you like the new "sexy" show but, for me it's lost a lot of it's charm.
