I find that Series Link keeps recording multiple copies of repeated episodes with things like Ugly Betty on C4 and E4. It happens so much and is so confusing that I have resorted to only doing one-off event recordings with programmes which keep having repeats (which means that I have to remember to set up the new recordings each time).

Is there any way of limiting it to just one recording of an episode with this box?

Have had a similar problem with my 768, with multiple recordings being set up.

Have resolved some by setting it to record same day and same time every week. This can be achieved in the recording set up mode by "reverse" setting the day in the single recording mode. (you can set up a variety of settingsincluding Mon-Frid etc.)
