Armography

I think Felicity may be in danger this week (I don't read spoilers!!!) and if so will blame Vincent. The arms were unneccesarily complivated and added nothing to the dance. I thoght Felicity looked uncomfortable througout the dance, and can't blame her.I think Vincent did not get it right.

They certainly made a pig's ear of that.

I wondered if short people tend to have short arms, and so it's more difficult to wrap them right around their partner.

I can't recall Anton even attempting that particular move.

If I recall correctly, he choreographed a very difficult Salsa for Louisa.

I thn the professionals choreography skills are crucial to success - not just being good at choreography, but playing to the clebrity's strengths, minimising or camouflaging their weaknesses and treading a fine line between stretching them and destroying them.

I thought it was ridiculously complicated, they spent a lot of time and energy to practice it, and failed. And it's not a crowd pleaser either. They'd have had more success with less technicality and more fun, hip shaking, turns, samba rolls or whatever they call them etc.

The arm movements were classic salsa, but Felicity sadly has no natural dance ability so was unable to handle them.

Vincent may have used them to detract from her lack of 'salsa' movement and to add some interest to the dance. She does not move well and has never mastered the necessary smooth transitions or technique required for salsa. He took a risk but sadly it failed.

Surprised by the use of the word 'armography' and am wondering who made it up? I've been dancing for over 30 years (pro and teacher) and have never, ever come across it.

It's just hilarious!

I think it was Craig. There's 'hairography', so I assumed he applied the mashing of arms and choreography to make armography
