All the decent £200 jobs are Apple A4 aka ARM A8. And usually with HDMI, USB and a memory expansion slot.
Am sure many people can make do without things such as the iTunes app Store or memory expansion.
Lastly the traits of a fanboy is to mislead. So maybe one misled you with regards to the Vega”
Have you seem these £250 jobs on yourtube ?
They are not a smooth or fast on UI as ipad.
Also check out the android forums for owners comments, only once jailbroken do they start to perform at reasonable speeds.
The jailbreak is also needed to
illegally enter the google app store, yes illegaly as google state that it is open open to "phones".......
Also a faster chip means nothing for almost all apps.
Who wants a game that runs up to 250% faster ?
They run at the speed needed to do the job.
After all you don't need the top of the line processor and graphics cards in a pc unless you are doing heavy duty video editing or multiscreen gaming etc.
And froyo is not written to use multicore processors except on phones for phone work so bacically until gingerbread comes out you have a big phone in your hand.....
Once again I say if you want a good android device wait till next year, otherwise its an ipad or a poor experience with a cheaper tablet. The £250 ones at the moment will not even say they will provide an upgrade next year so you could be stuck with the equivilent of windows 95 on your slab.
