He has been bad almost every week, and was ABYSMAL in the sing off. He deserved to go.

I agree that he deserved another chance

Hope it's not the last we hear of him - I really like his voice and would actually buy his songs if he went down the right route (so maybe it's a good thing he didn't win

)

Of course he deserved another chance. There's no debate. It could have been the kick up the arse he needed to raise his game, but he's gone, no second chance and we will never see if he upped his game or not.

Katie has had four chances now, plus all the slack she was cut in the auditions, boot camp and judges houses stages. FOUR chances, and she is no different every week. It's a travesty.

100% agree with you and I'm not even an Aiden fan. In the entire history of X Factor it has never been so blatently biased. If feel very sorry for Aiden.

Why did he deserve another chance? Didn't TreyC deserve a 2nd chance too then? What about Belle Amie? and Storm? As casual viewers, no one in my house enjoyed his last few performances... Only 2 songs I liked that he did were 'Mad World' and 'Nothing Compares To You'. Others were all awkward, mediocre and forgettable. This means that many other people in the country must've felt the same about him. He does have his loyal group of fans who 'get' him and for whatever reason think he's the best, but in the real world he really wasn't interesting/good enough for people to vote for him.

To me, he was just a nice (kinda weird) guy with a bit of talent who occasionally managed to sound good.

Not enough people voted for him... so he ended up in the bottom two. His sing-off was nothing special or memorable... Katie's wasn't that great either (but slightly better than Aiden's) so Simon saved her. Very understandable - I would've done the same thing and I'm not a fan of either of them. In the end it went to deadlock and Aiden got eliminated fair and square. To be honest, I think Louis should've sent Aiden home too instead of letting it go to deadlock.

Best of luck to the guy though!

Atleast Louis recognized that Aiden had more to offer.
