This album is, for lack of a better word, beautiful!
You know how there have been songs in her past few albums since emancipation, where people say 'oh, she sings the way she used to', but turns out that it's just not the case? Well in this one, she ACTUALLY is!!
The album is worth buying alone, for the opening first minute of Auld Lang Syne, where she just sings without any of the bull**** that's been going on with her vocal choices in the past few years. Truely, just straight down the line, plain singing!

A real pleasure to listen to.
'When Christmas Come' genuinely has that old school R&B jam feel to it from the Butterfly album, and 'Underneath the Stars'. Great melody (an actual melody yes!), fantastic feel to the song.
All her other songs are truly her best vocal performances since emancipation. The production is a bit wishy washy and saccharine at times, but her voice is the most back to basics I've heard in years, (despite it clearly sounding a lot thinner than what we are used to).
