Ann
Started The Show - as the Official Monster Raving Loony candidate, lumpy chest and self-aware humour to the fore. What Christine Hamilton could have been had she been brought up chained up in a basement for 20 years.
Best Dance - Hasn't really been one. The ballroom is effectively Day One placements, the Latin is attention seeking comedy sketches.
Worst Dance - all of them, truth be told.
General Consensus - like Marmite and whether it is ever acceptable to use beef skirt in a pie, she divides opinion. Forums tend to disapprove, the Great British Public however....
Chances of Winning - More Carol Voderman than Karen Hardy. But you never know....
Felicty
Started The Show - as the same youthful fresh-faced sex-kitten from the 70s. Didn't quite work out that way
Best Dance - the Paso Doble, either for the intense acting, or the Bosoms of A Thousand Husbands Sighing
Worst Dance - The cha cha cha from week one, where nerves and uncertainty took over with more devestating consequences than green fly on the vegetable patch
General Consensus - not the happy-go-lucky girl we wanted, not the wobbly old Hunniford we had secretly feared. Somewhere in the Logans.
Chances of Winning - as slim as she is, truth be told.
Gavin
Started the Show - unable to walk his partner up the stairs correctly.
Best Dance - the Quickstep from this weekend, which has ignited all manner of debates on-line - the "Homophobe Henson" jibes being the most extreme form of Internet-Itis I have seen in years, and I used to post on the MSN Forums of old - though the judges liked it
Worst Dance - the salsa. Not so much "heat" as "People's Friend"
General Consensus - sarcastic, dark humoured, shy, wobbly, not nice, too nice, not good enough, dark horse - he's a complex one, our Gavin.
Chances of Winning - oddly, kind of still in with an outside shot
Kara
Started the Show - as the "ringer", remember?
Best Dance - in the eyes of the judges, all of them.
Worst Dance - the foxtrot was shakier and more 'playing catch up' than she'd like to admit.
General consensus - she's a tryer. Whether it's too hard or not....
Chances of Winning - fairly much certain........isn't it?
Matt
Started the Show - Oh it's him, you know, him! From Blue Peter and the gymnastics. Oh HIM, he's nice, him. NICE.
Best Dance - pretty much all of them, as we've found out. The Argentine Tango was fairly the closest we'll ever get to Ramps' Goldeneye again...
Worse Dance - the Charleston, and not just generally this time
General Consensus - Would have made last year's series far better
Chances of Winning - fairly much certain......isn't it?
Pamela
Started the Show - as "funny girl and psychologist" Billy Connoly's Wife!
Best Dance - The spinning around drunk mum on Sankey's dancefloor one, obvz.
Worst Dance - "I'm Jan Ravens, this is my jive, I'm keeping the spirit of Jan Ravens alive!""
General Consensus - trying too hard to be normal. Or is that over-analysis?
Chances of winning - fair to middling. Now get back on the couch and tell me about your mother....
Patsy
Started the show - and starts every show as "Screen siren!"
Best Dance - really hasn't been one. Every show is a varient on the 'FEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF" self-help guide to letting yourself go
Worst Dance - "Tart with a heart" and looks like Kylie. Yes, it's all the Latin!
General Consensus - reacting to every public vote week with the same facial expressions used by soap actors for "You slept with who?" is getting DULL
Chances of winning - None, let's be honest
Scott
Started the show - I thought EastEnders banned actors from doing this?
Best Dance - Quickstep and Tango both very much upthere
Worst Dance - Made the Rumba look like two wet weekends on the Isle of Rum
General consensus - Is he the male "ringer"?
Chances of winning - behind Matt. Ahead of Kara. Ish.
