TWIST: Vote somebody back IN!?
I think this would be a fantastic twist to undermine what's becoming quite a predictable series.
The idea is that all the acts would come back, they'd open up the lines for a week allowing the public to vote for their favourite to be in the final along the top 3 and would be eligible to win. How many of you would like this idea? |

It's hardly fair is it? It would allow someone a free ticket to the final even if they'd only put one week's effort in (and got voted out for it). Not fair on the voters either

Terrible idea IMO. You've got people crying fix now! How bad would it be if they started messing around with the format?

No No No.
Once gone, they should be gone. Too confusing anyway. |

Would never happen after the Big Brother fiasco. No point having eliminations to have people brought back.
![]() On the business side, this gets: ITV more money from the phone votes HUGE publicity for the show, especially if the comeback kid wins International DRAMA that boosts TXF's appeal for the US market |

It's obviously not that predictable if people are continually be shocked at the results and decisions.

The idea came to me because I just finished watching BB7. I thought it was BRILLIANT, as Davina would say.

I'm pretty sure this wouldn't actually be illegal - the BB thing was because they have a vote to evict rather than a vote to save, but it's not like anyone would have wasted money voting to eliminate an act on XF.
That said, it's still a bad idea and they won't do it. |

That would mark the beginning of the end, as it did with Big Brother.

The BB7 fiasco virtually killed Big Brother off. Ratings vere never the same again and led to the show's ultimate demise.
But then again I learned all about it a) in retrospect, watching the series on YouTube and b) from the USA....so maybe I'm not getting the full context of things. ![]() But something like that would go down really well here, just saying to any of Simon's team.

So nobody will bother voting and save their money for the final week and vote their favourite act back in?
