Did anyone else notice...
...that the contestants appeared to be MIMING the group song at the start of the results show?
Wasn't sure to begin with, but when Mary was singing on the bit of stage between the judges and the audience, her bit ended and she shut her mouth before her voice stopped, then during a close up of One direction, one of them clearly stumbled on a line but his singing carried on like he hadn't. If they were miming, then this series (which has already lost a lot of it's credibilty) is now just a joke. |

They mime every group song, and have done for the past few years.

CALL OFCOM!!!Actually no, don't - the 'contestants song' has been mimed since they stated doing it. Perhaps the OP should call their optician instead? |

They always mime the opening song, so do the contestants on every Idol or XF show around the world. The main reason is to balance and blend their disparate voices. Another is so they can move around. On a live show they'd have to have so many technical rehearsals to get the sound right it's just easier to pre-record it. And they have barely any time to learn their lyrics or their moves, just one of them getting it wrong would muck it up.

That's what makes me laugh when they say "You've got a good recording voice" as they already know after week one how good their voice record (and autotunes for that matter).

Yes they have mimed for quite some time now ... ![]() Than XF Show is the proper Show for you; the Show which manipulates to get what they want, to play dirty games with the dreams for young artist whom they have just thrown away when he is not needed any more or they need the fans of that singer to vote for the chosen group. Disgusting! The most appalling fact from them all is that you, guys, have accepted all this manipulation so easily and still spend your money on voting. |
