In the Olden Days.....
.... The Simon was as honest as the day was long. In fact his honesty was classed as cruel and evil by some that thought they were star fodder. But the Simon held the respect of the masses for being up front, they heard and understood - his word was just and lawful. The people loved this man.
Then it came to pass over time that The Simon grew less acerbic, and the people became agitated and bewildered by his mien. He began to simper over dire performances and chose to select them, leaving the people angered and disillusioned. They began to riot with the written word, but still The Simon did not learn his lesson. He continued to destroy those that were good with the carefully chosen word, and laud the feeble with trickery and guille. The people departed, their tin God - The Simon, was no more, he had betrayed all due to one of the deadliest of all sins ....... GREED. |

The show is falling apart quicker than Simon's face.
