Why is Simon scared of Cheryl??
...or at at least that what it seems.
Was it just me who noticed last night, that before Simon gave his sing-off verdict Cherly gave him an evil stare that seem to say.."yeah, just you dare send Katie home, and I'll give you more than I gave the toilet attendant" He looked at her, and in that kind of naughty childish dismissive way, said "what??" I was sure then he was going to going against her, but he caved in to her. He didin't even bother explaining himself when usually he loves the sound of his own voice. But why? I thought he ran the show, and could bacically do whatetever he likes, so why is he pandering to princess Cheryl...or, is it that they "need to get a room!!" |

It's another Simon 'showmance' really.
Unfortunately for Simon, the rumours will never stop, despite how many busty blondes his publicist wants us to believe he has relationships with. |

I think Simon is desperate to keep Cheryl on the judges panel and doesn't want to do anything which will risk making her want to leave, so he's sucking up to her like there's no tomorrow. Cheryl is good publicity for the show as she sells newspapers and has a huge fanbase, so Simon's probably worried ratings and public interest would drop without her.

She just comes across as being childish and manipulative, maybe he's met his match?
They look like the couple who are having the office romance, and as much as they are trying to hide it, their body language and how they interact, totally gives it away. I wonder if Ashley had to endure that 'stare' if he was about to do something she didn't approve of. No wonder he 'played away' |

He perceives her to be a major asset of the show - or rather, did.
I think the winds of change are starting to blow through XF though. |
