and Matt's tweet about missing his bro Aiden "like my right arm" was so sweet - their friendship amidst the madness is one of the few genuine things to come out of this circus.

Matt can do this - he wants to do it and if that means playing along with the more daft elements and manipulation for a while longer then I will support him cos he has a whole lifetime ahead to do what he wants and believes in. also I think he is having the time of his life despite it all .

here's a nice pic - but Diamond/BA and others of an excitable nature don't look as i think Matt has got someone's pants in his hands!!!

Hmm... One Direction seem awfully high, but thats only T-Mobile. Matt's doing good!

Nothing to worry about, most people vote from a landline anyway.

I bloody love how you forget her name!

I think Matt will be leading landlines as well! I thought Aiden would be doing good too... but obviously not.

That's just T-Mobile as well remember... O2 and Orange are very popular.

I do mine on orange I think T's will be mostly youngsters
Orange and o2 contract etc phones

Yeah i'm on O2, most of my friends are and also the contract deals are better with orange then they are T-Mobile now... so more people go for that. Also, most people do it through a landline/ the TV.

I think Matt will be leading both of them.

Good grief! It's taken me most of the day at strategic intervals (i.e. while the boss isn't looking!) to catch up on all the posts since Saturday afternoon.

I thought Matt was fantastic on Saturday evening and have downloaded GYBR already. Pleasantly surprised by OD, their best yet - they should use Harry more on the lead. Rebecca good but needs to do something a bit different now to be there to the end.

Shocked to see Aiden go though I wasn't a particular fan of his style – Sorry to Aiden fans – but I think he'll find a niche in time.

I guess the powers that be have now got their way and Wagner and Katie will be on the tour. Think I'll be taking a refreshment break when Wagner's on (taking my daughter and friends to Wembley on 5th March

- they forced me, honest!)

Badass next week can you watch out and see if dermot says ..remember this is no particular order .....I'm certain !D name has been called out ..see if you can remember to notice?
I'm cheered by those figures ...because that's the line I might have least expected Matt to get his votes from ...so we relax ad put in the normal votes until theres 5 left ...it's fairly easy to see who will pick up what from where

I will do... for the past two weeks running 1D have been called out fourth after Cher, Rebecca and Matt.

Aidens done the most brilliant, subtly sarcastic backstage vid. Hes going to skype Matt everyday naked. And he wants to marry him and his mum, and everyone has to vote Matt.

Hes fab on Wagner and Katie too - I just love how he's playing the game but being honest too. What a lovely guy he seems to be - smart and funny and really sweet.

I have just watched YBR for about the umpteenth time. Why do I get emotional? Probably because I know Matt is trying so hard and giving it his all.

It would be a travesty if he did not win this competition. Although I like so many of the others, they are just not in the same league.

that song is a tour de force ...and they ALL know it ..which is why we got so little ...although tbh there weren't many ways of tackling the opening sequence and it HAD to be done ...the vocals in the second part were absolutely nothing short of genius ...far better than in any other song ...elton will be eating his words
