Simon the Hypocrite
How many times has Simon voted out a person who has been in the bottom 2 because they have been in the bottom 2, on a number of occasions?
E.g. Contestant X is in the bottom 2 for a third time. Simon says 'Contestant X clearly isn't connecting with the audience, so i'm sending Contestant X home' 'The Chin' has now been in the bottom 2 FOUR times now. What gives??

The answer is easy. Simon is doing this all for the money. And the contestants are singing for fame only. If a singer believes (s)he is talented, (s)he would remain obscure and allow his/her style to develop over time.
What happened to the 80's where most chart acts were bands which wrote music and played instruments?

She obviously still hasn't outlived her usefulness to him yet.

Simon also changes his reason for saving a certain person too depending on who it is he is trying to save. For example, one week he'll say: "I think this should be judged on who sung better in the sing off so i'm saving..." Last week though, even though TreyC was clearly better than Katie so he couldnn't use that excuse instead he came up with: "I'm saving the person I think the audience want to see again." Erm clearly we don't want to see her again. This week he didn't even give a reason, probably because he couldn't think of one other than: "I just like her and want her for the tour,"
