Scott and Natalie Jive was so Amazing. From the choreography to the music to Scott fantastic sharp jive flicks. I even loved the prop which I usually hate.

It seems everyone is busy moaning about them not deserving their marks rather talking about the dance itself. Where is the love for the amazing dance.?That dance was certainly worthy of 39, it should have been 40.

I was forever complaining about strictly dances not having the wow factor in the last few years. Scott and Natalie Jive is probably the most exciting dance on strictly for years. I can't stop watching it. . Tell me I'm not alone on this.

I for one really loved it, I really did and I am enjoying Scott's dancing every single week. I just thought that 39 was a little too high for the dance because it wasn't technically worth that. Performance and kicks and flicks wise, absolutely! But the rest of the dance brought the score down for me. But that doesn't mean I didn't love it, not at all. It just means that for me, a near perfect score has to include not only that level of fabulous performance but he has to nail the whole dance as opposed to just certain steps. And I thought that if Kara's perfect AT didn't get 39 or 40 then Scott's jive didn't deserve the score he got for it. But still, amazing dance, one of my favourites of the series so far

^^^^^^ For me it was good but not brilliant as the judges portrayed it to be.

There a thread called something like "At Last Outstanding Dancing" - there's a lot of love for it on there. (Or there was early this afternoon anyway.) Probably down to page 2 by now.

I thought it was wonderful btw.

I absolutely loved Kara's dance and thought surely no dance would be better on the night. However Scott dance had that something especial that really connected with me. Scott was not even a favourite of Mine until his VW. which was great. Come on 39 is not what it used to be, Matt D got a perfect 40 and a few others who's dance was not better than Scott's.

I thought it was phenomenal! The most I've enjoyed a dance for the last couple of series (and I absolutely loved some of the routines by Ricky Whittle), and worthy of the score it received. I also agree that the prop was actually in fitting with the routine for the first time this series!

It was bound to get backlash though - I don't think Kara deserved her score, but many people think she did.

Just depends on who you support.

I voted personally for Matt and Kara. The judges for my mind are being quite crafty and ensure Scott gets by every week. Reckon the bosses want Scott to win just by his and Natalies marks. Don't really reckon he is telling a story and former judge Arlene Phillips reckons he is being overscored.

Absolutely- you can tell because they marked him second bottom for his Rumba

If he'd been marked higher for his Rumba, you might have an argument (although I don't think it's valid to say he's been overmarked). But he could easily have been eliminated that week if he hadn't got the vote. That hardly suggests they're desperate for him to win.

I know, the Matt getting 40 for that waltz still grates on me. Don't get me wrong, I loved Matt, great dancer but that was not a 40 at all. I just think that instead of continuing the trend and just saying oh well 40 isn't what it used to be is wrong though. They should correct it, not continue it or make it even easier to get

Not for me really. I love Kara the most but the week Scott did his VW I voted for him more than I voted for Kara because I thought he was best. It's not about supporting one and only one for me (although I do have my favourites). The best dancer will get most of my votes every week but I'll usually spare a couple for Kara too. It just so happens that most weeks she's been the best for me, so it's kinder on my phone bill lol.

I think that's deeply paranoid. Scott gets better marks than Matt because so far he's been better. It's not a conspiracy. If Matt leapfrogs Scott in the next few weeks and starts getting better marks than him, I won't think it's a conspiracy - I'll think it's because he's dancing better than Scott. It's different if you genuinely believe the judges got it wrong between the top dancers because that's quite subjective but thinking they're doing it to spite someone else in the competition is either paranoia or bitterness. I didn't mean to sound this harsh but I can't think of how else to put it.

But it could suggest they knew he was safe enough given his usual weekly share of the vote , even if he was low on the leaderboard .

In which case they had no need to 'overmark' his Jive.

For me, it's been the best Jive of the series so far - although it was only the 4th Jive! - and I really enjoyed it. However, I actually preferred Scott & Natalie's QS and VW. Having said that, though, this Jive and Kara & Artem's AT were definitely the best dances of the night.

Have to say, performance-wise, Scott blows the competition out of the water. He really gets the over-selling thing, he would be brilliant on stage! (Live bungle on EE aside ).

Oh, don't worry - I loved it!
I was also glad the prop use enhanced the storytelling and allowed Scott his solo section, great ending. Fantastic Jive and I'm usually quite 'meh' about Jives.

Arlene Phillips didn't think it was that great. Kara's AT was better in my opinion. Scott to me I have to say is a bit self centred to win. Just being bigged up by the judges, reckon it was sympathy marking for his bad rumba.

Personally I thought it was a fantastic jive, the best dance of the night for me, but run very very close by Kara and Artem, they were two stunningly good dances on Saturday
