I started out eating cold Heinz Spag Bol tins when camping as a child. I eat everything from tins cold, soup, rice pudding, beans, etc.

Can eat 'em both way, I ain't fussy.

Here's one for you to try, get some Sainsbury's own brand beans (it has to be those ones as the sauce is pretty thick and they're the best beans out there). Now cook them in a pan on the stove and let the sauce thicken up (let them cool and reheat if need be). Meanwhile get some Oatcakes out and grate some cheese over 'em. Pour the thickened up beans over the top, roll 'em up and microwave for 20s.

I agree about the Sainsbury's own brand beans - delish! I shall definitely try this one - sounds nice.

Be sure to use proper 'potteries' oatcakes if you do.

I certainly will. I've got a recipe for them somewhere (you can't get them down here, worst luck). Worth the effort, though.

I love beans be they hot or cold but they have to be the slightly more expensive ones with the thicker tomato sauce. I hate the watery stuff.

I can only eat beans if they have brown sauce on them.

Baked beans are nasty.
Cold is marginally worse.

I can only eat beans occasionally and they have to be piping hot as well as covered with cheese

Depends what I'm having with them. If it was beans on toast then obv hot, but i love cold beans with corned beef hash. I also love them straight out of the tin with vinegar splashed on! Honestly its gorge!

Preferrably hot but I don't mind if they've cooled down. I can't eat them straight out of the tin though.

I like both warm and cold but much prefer to eat them cold.

Same with pies actually
