She is polite and considerate to her fellow competitors unlike some.

See i dont call that politeness. I would actually respect her more if she shook Aiden's hand for example and said "fair play we both tried and give it a shot and i was kept in".

Well I never! A Katie bashing thread. I haven't seen one of those before .................

Yes, at a moment like that, it is only natural and genuine to spontaneously come out with an oration worthy of Churchill.

Besides, did Aiden look in the mood for polite conversation?

I did too. I have thought she seems at her most genuine when she is in the sing off.

Aiden made it clear that he wasnt too fond of Katie, we could tell by his body language, and he didnt pretend to want to cuddle her. Katie does seem like she overdoes it a bit, the way she was trying to grab his hand, I dont know, didnt seem genuine at all.

^^This, the look of her face when she was called safe over him looked genuine to me!

Its not her fault she keeps getting saved, and at the end of the day, it was the publics choice to get rid of aiden this time! as shocked and upset as I was about this, that's just the way it goes!

See im no Katie fan, she's a talentless daug, but what you think she should have said would just be rubbing it in Aidens face. I think Sorry (even if shes not actually sorry) is fine, they cant have a heart to heart on the stage !!

I always feel (whoever's staying) that it's not an apology but an "I'm sorry you're going" thing. Just good manners, innit.

She is saying Sorry because she knows that she was brought to XF with only one reason - to be used for this kind of the manipulation games!
XF has paid her for that!

Isn't it just politeness and good-sportsmanship? What else is she supposed to say? "In your face Aiden - I beat your ass!"?
Would that make you respect her more?

And i dont really see it as just good sportsmanship. That to me is a handshake. When i got beat by the other kid in sportsday when i was a kid i didnt start sobbing and hugging him.

Probably because she so desperately wants to gain public approval so is coming across as overly nice in a very fake way :|

It isn't though - because that's what the sing off is for! Or else, the producers would get rid of the sing off and just get rid of the act who got the lowest votes each week, wouldn't they?

It's common courtesy. Definitely not something to scoff at her for.

How is sobbing and trying to grab someones hand, hug them constantly and having to be dragged away COMMON never mind courtesy?

Cause no one could be like she acts. And anyway, what's more likely, that she genuienly is like that or shes putting it on for effect? I know which one id say is more likely.

Seeing as most of the contestants facing her in the Final 2 are much better, I'm sure she feels a bit bad.
