Restoring SMS & Bookmarks from SD on Froyo
Hi
I've just restored my Desire to try and cure the overheating only to find that it's not pulled my bookmarks & SMS's back in from the card. After an hour of fruitless searching on Google I can't seem to find a workround. Is there anyway I can just copy the backup file across when it's hooked up to my pc as a drive ? Thanks ! |

I thought it was only contacts that were backed up?
To restore contacts, go into "people", press menu then look for an option to import from SD card. It will then say what type of contact you would like them to be, if you select "google", the contacts will be restored to your phone and then in future backed up to your google account so you can get to them anywhere on any android device, pc etc. |

By the way I think the latest HTC sync can backup book marks too. |

No, I restored them to the phone.
Does the sync effectively backup to the PC then ? I'll do that on a regular basis if it does. |
