Nigel is starting to get on my last nerve, which is currently occupied by Gillian. I am sure there is room enough for them both.

I actually said the same to my wife not many minutes ago. Lembit might be a bit of a prat, but Nigel does seem ready to have a pop about anything Lembit does.

Lembit is an idiot.
.....and judging from some of the comments on here, its no wonder he got away with being an MP for 13 years.

Ok Nigel is a bit grumpy, he's probably hungry, bored, miserable, and sick to death of Lembit's inane chattering about nothing.
It's a good job most of Lembit's girlfriends have nothing between the ears, or they wouldnt bear him for a nano second.

Nigel's just a grumpy old man who finds Lembit irritating.

Lembit is irritating. We only see the highlights remember - he probably waffles on 24/7.

Nigel thinks he's superior to the rest of them and is really getting on my nerves.I don't much like Lembit, but he is entitled to his opinion, same as Nigel. Nigel is definately a bully, but does it in a sly way.

I haven't a clue who he is/was but he's annoying the sh*t out of me.

He criticises every single word out of Lembits mouth and goes i want to crack him... The old fart couldn't knock a mouse out.

Wow! You must have read my mind! Unfortunately, there is always someone who we dislike on sight and whatever they do is wrong. Lembit is clearly that person for Nigel! A bully? Some people need to get real

He will like having the ladies there, he is not a mans man. But he does think he is better than the rest of them.

Nigel, the not-so-passive aggressive. His animosity towards Lembit appears to be both personal and political. I like it that Lembit is not taking the bait, despite Linford's juvenile interjections. Hopefully, the mixed camp will divert Havers' myopic view.

LOL. Obviously when someone gets on your nerves it makes you a "bully". You lot never fail to make me laugh. And not in a good way.

On the DS nice/nasty celebs thread, if I remember rightly Nigel Havers wasn't that nice when FM's have met him. I get the impression he'd only p*ss on someone on fire if they were upper class or loaded.

Exactly, remember how they kept calling our Ben nasty, just because he had a dry wit? Some people just go over the top.

I think Nigel Havers is a mean piece of work

People say that we don't see the live feed so we can't see how bad Lembit possibly is to provoke Nigel. In the same turn, we can't see how bad Nigel is, hoe could be constantly going on about what Lembit does all day, trying to grind him down. Lynford has come across as nothing more than a silly child. He's really immature

How can you justify that claim on a person you have seen for a couple of minutes on an edited show.

I don't think Lembit is doing anything to provoke Nigel, apart from breathing. It's hard to believe that Linford is 50. He comes across as a simpleton. Nigel doesn't like Linford anymore than he likes Lembit, but he is much more careful in his approach. Wonder why.

I think that the term bullying is very overused, probably because it's the easiest way to express a view on a particular situation. I think Nigel is a verbal bully, in the way that he immediately shuts Lembit down as soon as he opens his mouth. If Nigel was giving Lembit a physical slap every time he said something, it would be much easier to define. Nigel was annoyed that Lembit likes sour food, because he hates Lembit. No other reason. So he just had to jump all over him. Also, Nigel's behaviour seems to be an acceptable norm these days. Hatred breeds irrationality.

Totally right
The nature of people has changed. I am so confused to why people in general have become so arrogant and impatient. I work in retail, and people are just so damned impolite. It seems that the celebs show this too
