Was that Nigel or Lembit? I've never talked about pudding in terms of pH, in fact I haven't talked about anything in terms of its pH since I did chemistry at school!

Nigel is confident in his own skin therefore has no need to impress - so he says it as he sees it. Good for him.

And you know this how...?

I like Nigel a lot. He seems pretty straightforward and no nonsense, kind of like the wonderful Britt.

Agreed. He had a dig at everyone when he commented that he hadn't had an intellectual conversation since he got in there. Snob!

And the canoe incident! Of course that was his own fault he fell in the water!

And believe it or not ... before this series began ... he was going to be my favourite! Well he can just sod off right now!

I do find him a huge disappointment.
I sort of hoped he'd be more like his public image.

I thought he was going to live up to his image and be a charmer, have some wit about him, and maybe instigate some intelligent conversation himself.

He reminds me of how disappointed I was when Huggy Bear was also nothing like his TV image.

Nigel let slip his real reason for picking on Lembit on the first night .

Just after he fell out of the boat .

He said he did n't think Lembit would be popular with the people at home .
I knew Lembit would be his target after that.

I agree. I think he is being himself, albeit a bit grumpy, but who wouldn't be in that set up?

He has nothing to prove, and he has come out and said he is there in between theatre jobs, has no real need to do it other than for the experience (obviously the money was a massive pull, reading between the lines...if it is offered on a plate, who wouldn't take it? ).

His career, unlike most of them in there, is not dependant on how he 'performs' in the jungle - he is a credible actor who will always be hired. I think it's great to have people in there like him. He's the most likely to say it how it is rather than lamely try to be Mr.Nice guy in order to get popularity brownie points .

I hope a poisonous snake bites him and really gives him something to moan about ”

It will be interesting to see how Nigel behaves when the girls arrive.

I think it was Lembit. He was saying it wasn't the pH that was the problem, not the acidity ... I think he does have a science background.

I'm sure he thinks the public will like him for moaning at Lempit all the time but no sorry Nigel we have all just gone right off you.

Limpsip is an annoying windbag who spouts rubbish the whole time. I'm glad Nigel is taking him on. Prefer to see someone speaking their mind than arse licking. I loved Nigel's quip on the Cheeky Girls "They're that talented".

pH is what measures the acidity of a substance.
A pH between 0-7 is acid etc
So saying it's not the pH but the acidity which is the problem is trying to sound smart but failing!

Having said that I think Nigel is being very moody and seems to think everyone should be there to entertain him when he wants to be entertained, and go away and be quiet when he wants peace.

The fact is they all have to live together and get along, and maybe he could learn something from just relaxing a little and trying to get on with people.

I am no fan of Lembit that is for certain, but the way Nigel is behaving toward him is out of order, i think it stinks of typical bullying that goes on in most circles.

I want to see Nigel doing a Trial

I'm loving Nigel and his grumpiness

Have to say though that it was his own fault he fell out of the boat, not Lembit's, he shouldn't have stood up when Lembit was getting out.

I quite like Lembit too.

Linford is not my fave at the moment, i thought he was trying to curry favour with the public about the expenses thing to Lembit

I thought the pH was a measure of a substance's acidity though? At least that's what I remember from school.
