Adjusting microwaving times
400g of microwavable chicken pieces (thighs and drumsticks), full power for 10mins
if I only want 1/2 of them, is it a simple as full power for 10/2=5mins

Depends on the microwave and the power. I may be 1/2 or it could be 2/3.
Try just below 1/2 then check it to how far along it is. |

It may be 1/2 or it could be 2/3. Tried 1/2 the time, then added another minute -> and 4hours later I ain't in the bathroom puking up the meal and feeling like death warmed (or rather microwaved) up, so methinks I got it near enough ok. Try just below 1/2 then check it to how far along it is.
