I find nothing endearing about "our" Lynford. Loud mouthed, opinionated and generally too full of himself.

Surely he is a great example of NOT pushing it when you already have a "name" and are desperate to push yourself onto our screens.
He could run fast for sure, but, he is not an entertainer in any way, shame as he totally changed the opinion I had of him.

He's a lot different to what I expected.

Quite loud and loves his ladies.

I expected him to be more reserved.

I think he could quite quickly become really annoying.

It's funny to watch each of them all blaming the others for being annoying. I.e. out of Lembit, Nigel and Linford. Seems they are all getting on each other's nerves already.

Loud isnt the word, his voice booms out first whenever anything happens to bring attention to himself. I would find him far more annoying than Lembit TBH, who seems pretty mild mannered and positive.

yes, i had a full idea of who he was just by watching him run for 10 seconds...

I like him - he enjoys himself and takes the mickey out of everyone. I think he's funny.

He doesnt take the mickey, he attempts to make them look small which it totally different IMO.

Yep. I agree. Taking the mickey is okay provided that you say that's what you're doing afterwords to the recipient that your doing it to. In Nigel's case, he's telling us the viewers to try and get us on side, but really he's riling people up so that if they get upset, he can then, and only then, say it was just a wind up. And the fact that he's told us beforehand, is quite a sly way of him trying to get off the hook by doing so IMO.

I don't dislike him yet, but if he pursues this as a tactic, then I doubt I'm going to like him.

Think he is quite thick, takes himself too seriously and has the potential to be a nasty man at times. Agree he should have stayed known as an athlete.

I don't regard him as a legend anyway. He's a cheat, plain and simple.

His status as sporting legend was knackered when he tested positive for nandrolone.

Yes. I can only assume it's fake naivety when people on TV say 'Wow, look at his arms, he's so fit!' That's drugs, for goodness sake!

Those of us who followed athletics and remember Linford in his hey day know he was never some shy, retiring wallflower.

He also probably won't like this treatment being meted out to him. One of those who can dish it out but is unable to take it.

Derek Redmond, the ex-400m runner once said Linford Christie was a well-balanced athlete. He had a chip on both shoulders.

Hope he leaves first actually. Or Lembit. Can't stand either of them.

I agree with you. Extremely dissapointed with him, way, way to full of himself.
