I thought You're Fired was better than the main show tonight Russ. Although I did spend almost the entire 30 minutes questioning my sexuality - Sandeesh looked that beautiful in her little white dress !!
Oh don't worry Sid, Paloma had me doing that these past four or five weeks! I thought I'd gone back to the 90s, as a teenager in burgeoning sexual confusion over the Indonesian 70s siren Laura Gemser in, thanks to Sky Movies, the lower-end of the 'Emannuelle' cycle all over again

Simon!! the trampoline guy.... he was a scream

also... oh God, what's her name? She's really famous - the girl who was laughing over the werewolf jacket with James Max, many moons ago. They are the ones that stand out in my mind.
Do you mean Saira? Yes, she wasn't exactly a wallflower!

I thought Lucinda was an interesting girl too.

Saira Khan, yes thank you! I still have tears of laughter when I watch this scene:

and yes Lucinda was interesting, I'd forgotten about her... she wasn't hilarious but she was definitely different to your usual candidate. That was an excellent year.

Saira was just brilliant. Along with the Badger, Katie Hopkins and Lucinda, my favourite candidates ever. One wonders why...

How do you have such a memory of past candidates?

Seriously, I must have watched every series of the apprentice and I'm lucky if I can remember, let alone name more than two people!

I think my brain just catagorises it as "useless information"

Hmm well I'm going on certain personal-appeal-holding criteria

In which regard I'd forgotten 'toothpaste smile Kate' from last year

I fell in love with Lucinda the moment she emerged from the house with a pink beret on her head!

She was unique in every way and had the best task record out of all the candidates that year. I hoped Sugar would celebrate Lucinda's individuality and salute her efforts but he didn't even give her a slot in the final

I felt sorry for Saira at times. She was a fighter and I admired that but she was too belligerent.

And I thought Ruth was over-rated I was one of the few that loved Michelle!

Katie Hopkins terrified and fascinated me in equal measures.

Oddly enough, one of the very few things that sticks in my memory about the first series is Saira leading the 'art selection' task, where she tried to woo a client both teams were fighting for, with the following ineffably cringesome over-the-phone pitch:

"We are very passionate about your passion. Some of the colours we like are: <insert various random colours>..."

I thought 'you knob!!' But as the weeks rolled by, her stiffly literal approach became more and more genuinely her, as opposed to say, the robotic managementspeak cliches we recently saw being spouted by Pod Person Alex. And when in those moments such as in the YT vid, where the less formal and more frivolous side of her personality shone through, she couldn't ever have been anything less than endearing. On top of undeniably smart and yes occasionally, finagling, but ultimately incisive. If not an Amstrad employee, then a genuine talent; as her successful post-Apprentice career to date has more than borne out.

She sounded thick all the time and I don't find her eyes alluring, more like a cartoon character. Maybe it was the lighting.

Yes that's a very accurate assessment of Saira I'd say

Sandeesh is indeed a lovely girl. Seems a really nice person too; interesting to see that her fellow contestants whose opinion VTs were on You're Fired all seemed to like her personally, whatever they thought about her workwise.

Aww but can't we have her in the background at least? She doesn't even have to do anything, she can be a prop or something.

She's okay. Personally, I think Sara from series four was the hottest female to grace the show:

Sandeesh was indeed so pretty . I wish she was a stronger candidate aswell as she came accross really genuine. The other candidates seemed to rate her as a person too.
