First time on this thread, but having watched SCD from the beginning (sorry but I loved Chris Parker!) and seen how nice most of you were I thought I share the SCD love.

My mum and I were talking Christmas special the other day and she remembered seeing June Brown dance when she was younger. Mum said she was a teriffic dancer, so maybe she won't be bad just a bit limited in faster/more flashy moves.

Then how on Earth is Anton supposed to train both Ann and Ronni? Unless Ronni lives in Devon too and Anton teaches her all the times when he isn't attempting to teach Ann.

I thought it was odd at the time that both Vincent and Anton were given as male pros on the Christmas show press release when they were still in the main competition. So I thought it must have been filmed a bit closer to Christmas. Obviously Felicity is now out leaving Vincent free to teach June Brown this week but Ann is still in.

Surely it would have made more sense to use Ian and Darren as the pro troupe aren't dancing for several weeks again. BBC logic never ceases to amaze me!

I have now seen one DS poster who has got tickets but no-one else yet. All I know is that I haven't got them (I phoned up to check)

I'm surprised John Barrowman is doing Quickstep, I would have thought they'd push him to do latin since he's the most experienced dancer.

I'd be shocked if Anton does latin with Ronnie, I don't think he ever does latin if he gets the choice
Shocking also if June does latin at her age, the older contestants are almost always given ballroom.

So that would leave only Fern to do latin- unless they're all doing ballroom?

We had tickets last year ; my daughter and her friend went on the Monday of Christmas week.

Hmm, don't know, but it will be interesting to find out. (Hope we don't have to wait until Christmas.)

If they have both ballroom and latin, it's not going to be evenly spread anyway, with only 5 couples taking part this year, when they usually have 6, I think.

Maybe they will discard the Latin altogether and just treat us to an evening of Ballroom dances?
