I think on the whole the ballroom dances have worked better in the Christmas specials though so I wouldn't mind if they changed to ballroom only for future specials.

Yes the only exception I've found is the Rhumba (surprisingly)

Rachel, Matt and Zoe all did a really good job with this dance and it fitted in nicely with the Xmas theme.

Waltz and Rumba are my two favourites for Christmas specials I think. It almost seems like a Rumba shouldn't work, but it does for some reason.
