Maybe he realised the task was stupid and didn't really reflect the type of person he'd want to work with?

I mean the winning team had that real irritant in it (I forget his name)- who nobody would want to work with in a million years- whether he is slightly better at selling blue screen on a daft task or not...

Excuse me, I used to be a recruitment consultant! And a bloody good one too.
So was James Caan, and from his book - another bloody good one too. good read that book - probably better than Theo or Duncan's.

I'd say Sandeesh was picked on the strength of her eyes...
Her eyeliner annoyed me. It made her eyes look weird like they were about to pop out of her head!

I must be the only person to find her eyes bulging, rather than lovely or mesmerising.

and to be honest, he's been gunning for her for a few weeks
Except she's been in the boardroom for 3 out of the previous 4 tasks. If he'd been gunning for her, he had plenty of opportunity to fire her.

What seemed to happen is the team leader would praise her and then bring her in anyway. Often she'd be the only person on the team to emerge with any credit. I think she got a bad reputation in the early tasks, eg Paloma said she didn't work hard.

I had liked her, because she seemed to talk a lot of sense. For example, she argued in favour of the Boots deal when others (eg Laura and Paloma) were against it. She shut down Alex when he wanted to claim they had celebrities in the fashion shop.

I would rate her much higher than Stuart or Laura, so it was unfortunate that she had to be fired earlier than them. However, she wasn't a great PM and at this stage in the game most of the others are stronger overall. I think she would have lasted longer if she had led a team earlier.

I think Sandeesh is your archetypal 'background girl' - seemed that she always worked hard but wasn't particularly visible

I think the with regret comment was because he knew that Sandeesh was a nice girl but just not right for the job
I think she really raised the respect levels from LS last night by taking back Liz and Chris - two strong candidates and she knew it....but genuinely and honestly thought they (and she) had to take the blame as the sales people. She could easily have gone for Jamie after LS gave him a dressing down, but stuck by her principles. Hats off. Like Karen said - not ruthless enough

Didn't like her eyes one bit but posters on here were going gaga over them for some reason.
