Doesn't this show that Aiden is much more popular than we have been made to believe from the 'public' vote results at XF?

Are you suggesting the votes were rigged?

I reckon that he wouldn't have gone out so early without fuss. Even if he was against Matt or Rebecca, people would call it a joke that good singers were in the bottom 2.... etc.

But still, yay for Aiden.

I'm surprised you didn't say he's trending off the back of Katies popularity lol

Not rigged but Simon knows how to sway voting patterns after five seasons. Notice how he said not once but several times on Saturday that Aidan ''would be fine'' because of his performance.

I'm a fan of Aiden but people just didn't vote, a bit like Lucie Jones last year.

I just can understand how the contestant who has the secong highest numbers of the fans on Facebook and first on Twitter has lost at the public vote at XF>
Smell the rat here, don't you too?

And the most tweeted news in UK just now!
I hope XF reads our posts!

He probably is. Katie probably retweeted it so everyone knew, generous lady that she is.

Yup, this is what i think happened too.

People assumed he would be safe anyway, helped by simons comments

Which makes it even worse that he wasnt allowed a second chance, as I believe he would not have been anywhere NEAR the bottom again for a couple of weeks at least. Whereas katie is practically guaranteed a bottom 2 placing again this week...

That's for sure; you can take her home to cook the meal for you and listen to her constant 'chwak'!

There is no rat.

Saying you like something on facebook costs nothing.

Voting does.

Plenty did the former, not enough did the latter.

Its not hard to figure out.

I definitely do..could this be Simon Cowards guilty conscience at the stunt he pulled on Sunday night...money can buy anything including silence.

Do you want to say that Aiden fans are more intelligent than the other contestants' fans and they don't vote because they know the voting is just the most stupid way to throw away one's money?

No, Im quite literate, had I wished to say that I would have.

In case you are struggling with a second language , I'll spell it out simpler.

He was bottom because all the people that sign up as his fans on facebook didnt vote enough.

Agree. It costs nothing on Twitter but obviously people were not prepared to phone up for him after that performance in sufficient numbers to keep him safe.

Totally agree has a lot to do with the type of fan you attract somepeople will never vote and probably do not watch live on saturday night but are more likely to buy the album as long as it is good. It is a popularity contest with the people willing to spend. Subo is a prime example people voting were not the ones going to buy album.

I'm chuffed to bits he's on the tour

But begs the question - is it a top 9 now or is Treyc on it too to make it a top 10?

If you think logically this year's Live Final Stages expanded from 12 acts to 16; so it is only fair that the Finalists that goes on tour expand from 8 previously.

If anything TreyC should count herself unlucky that she has not been invited.
