Missed half an hour of this...does ITV have plus one?

I'm sure I've looked before to see if there's an ITV plus one channel, but couldn't find it.

Does it exist?

Peed off that I missed start of programme thinking it started at nine

Thanks Muriel

Seems no option but to watch again through the Iplayer thingy

ITV ought to get their act together and get in line with other programmes offering one plus.

What the heck is stopping them?

Not necessarily if what Tanequil indicated is true.

I.e. peeps will upload on news servers and can be available far quicker than Iplayer.

better watching on stv player as there are no add's ,the first or second add break you have to wait the 3 minutes to it reloads but all other's just break then restart ,not sure if it's like that on itv, doubt it.

Do you have cable JTW?..........I missed it too last night. I'm sure Virgin give you the option to watch programmes again. I'll have a look later.......tho' if you don't have cable you're stuffed.

There are problems with ITV1 being a regional channel with regional adverts unlike the other channels that have a +1, making it logistically very difficult to do.

I'm on Virgin Media, but haven't seen any plus one channels for ITV.

Oh...didn't know that.

But out of interest, what is the difference from ITV advertising and all the other channels that do the same thing?

ITV has over 20 regions and micro regions which can show different adverts during programmes, each of which have different charges. They also show different programmes in different regions at cerain times of day. It is technically very difficult and hugely expensive to be able to show these in one +1 channel. Other +1 channels such as Channel 4 and 5 and digital channels are national so show the same adverts and programming throughout the country. ITV4 is also not a +1 channel as it shows a lot of live sport.

If you press TV guide on your remote control it will give you the option of Catch up TV....scroll through the options.......it's asking me for a pin number (I'm not sure what mine is) It's so much bloody easier with the BBC I-player.

I've just phoned Virgin to get a pin no: I'll be able to watch last night's programme after all.

Thanks for this info. I really didn't know why ITV were different from other channels and just thought they were either too slow to catch on or not wanting to part with any cash. Now I understand the complications involved.

I'm catching up on the first 3 days with iplayer. It was blatantly obvious that Nigel and Stacey thought Shaun was a crew member when they first sayw him as they didn't greet him till he introduced himself
