He annoys me because he lacks any kind of self-awareness or real awareness of others.
I have no problem with him being an ex-MP - but I was very put off him when he went out with that young teenage-type Cheekie Girl. I just thought it showed lack of taste or judgement on his part.

That is true - but making him a hate figure for no reason will just put the viewers off the likes of Jenny, Nigel etc......

He isn't my favourite celeb but I would dearly love him to out-stay the ghastly Nigel

Actually it's working in reverse for me. From my point of view the show is deliberately editing things so Nige is made out to be a complete barsteward and Lempit the innocent victim so I'm being very contrary and wanting Nige to win

I don't see what's so irritating about him either - but I've seen him on other reality shows and people ALWAYS seem to react to him like that so I think he must be thoroughly irritating, and it's being edited out.

The way he minced their sole luxury lemon would have been a bit of a wind up - since it was idiotic, and there was no reason for him to do it if he didn't know how, as he clearly didn't.

I don't get the hate either.

I believe the Cheeky Girl was well into her twenties. Still far too young for Lembit, of course, but, if you're going to turn against every middle-aged male 'celebrity' who has had his head turned by a much younger 'glamorous' woman, you're not going to be left with many to like. (I suspect he may not be the only one in IAC.) And at least Lembit is not married.

I don't think we've seen why Lembit's pissing them off properly yet but I'm gonna go with Nige on this one and say it's probably all the bollocks he spurts forth but that's the norm for an MP/ex MP

He's also now my favourite too. Also the cheeky girls are nearly thirty and Sian is over 50, so why is he being ridiculed for going out with teenagers
