Despite the hilarity, who else was a bit disappointed with Stubags this week?
I was looking forward to him being PM. Despite his talking head hubris in week one, he did make some valid, insightful contributions in the weeks that followed and had seemed to mellow a bit and seemed to show promise, so I could put his initial arrogance down to youth.
But he undid all his good work last night. Funny but disappointing. |

I can't say I was disappointed.
He's completely useless as a candidate and is there for the fun factor alone. He's not a businessman. He's not a good worker. He's not an entrepreneur. He's someone with gave himself a daft nickname and somehow made an RTV show as the token comic. That's the brand I guess. He is a good comic on the Apprentice and his phrases and sayings make for good viewing but he should not be in a competition like this. He's worse than some of the poorest candidates ever. |

I didn't find him completely useless as a candidate. I'm not trying to say he was amazing, more that he showed promise.

But he undid all his good work last night. Funny but disappointing. I'm making excuses 'cause I definitely had him set to win, and was really impressed with him up to this point. Fingers crossed for a redemption arc - though it looks like he's already burnt his bridges with Jo and Stella, to tell the truth, which won't make his life easy. Wouldn't be surprised if he's not in Lord Sugar's good books, either. Still! I've still got time for StuBaggs. Good candidate. Charismatic and intuitive. He's not a villain like Ben and Phillip were last series, just a bit of a pratt now and then. Would like to see him last at least to interviews. |

What?
What do you mean - [i]despite the hilarity[i]?
The hilarity is what makes him so eminently watchable! His attitude to women. His self-importance. Cars. Testosterone. Kid in a sweet-shop. He is such an excited small child. I love him! |

The apprentice is a competition to win a prize not a personality contest. In terms of being a candidate, Stuart is both useless and pointless. He's one of the worst actual candidates ever. I honestly think he is overall poorer than Rory(s3) and Micheal S(s4). He's that bad. |

I think Stuart vs Stella is going to be a fun rivalry this series. I hope next week Stella is project manager so she can get some revenge and we can see how Stuart reacts to it.

Stu isint all that bad. They were absolutely taking the mickey out of him on 'Your Fired'.
Yes, he's brash and full of himself but a lot of contestants play to the cameras on the show. They say stupid things. Thats just the norm. I dont get all the sexism on the 'Your Fired' show though.. God forbid Stu happens to cross swords with the Ice Queen Stella. How can anyone even dare say anything or stand up to the 'Strong, tough Businesswoman'. Surely being a no nonsense business woman excuses Stella from everything.. Women have ofcourse fought for decades to get respect in business and any woman being 'strong' shouldnt be messed with... What a bunch of nonsense and absolute double standards.. |

Funny? In his own head he might be.
I find him irritating, rude, ill-mannered and clueless on how to conduct himself professionally. He's going to crash soon, but in some ways I'd like to see him make it to the interviews and get ripped apart. |

I agree with the original poster. I had him down as a "don't know" rather than a "definite loser" because he seemed to have potential, and after being switched to a different team in task 5 he seemed to be finding his feet in task 6, doing the voices for the adverts. Then he kind of blew it. He's now firmly in my "loser" category.
