Probably. Suddenly tonight she's clever because she disagreed with Linford, completely missing the point, and spurred on by Jenny, who really understands what Linford means, but is trying to 'stir things up'.

Sorry but you cannot place Stacey in the same depths as Brian and Chantelle! She's an intelligent girl with thoughts of her own ... she's just very bubbly and excitable. She's also very sweet and kind. Some genuinely nice people can win things you know.

Stacy should cut the thick act then if she's not in the same bracket as those I named

I don't think her breathless way of talking is an act - if you notice, it is when she is excited or nervous or unsure of herself that her voice becomes raised and squeaky, her speech quick and she gulps in air like it's supplying her last breath. Given a situation in which she is more relaxed or sure of herself then she breathes more easily and allows her thoughts to reach her mouth before she utters them. I've never considered her 'dipsy', just excitable and definitely NOT putting on an act. Way to go Stacey! So far my fav to win

No - it's because she's unusually sunny and has a fantastic attitude towards other people and life in general. I can't imagine how anyone could dislike her.

I couldn't agree more. The bit in the camp when Shaun was "having a go at Gillian", then cue Stacey in the Bush Telegraph Hut talking in that voice telling us that she kept saying "shaun what are you doing", whereas the film showed her saying nothing at all. I never watch XFactor so don't get the hype about her. She seems OK, but if others got more air time and she stopped playing "the part", I might see her for her natural charm and not the ITV favourite foisted upon us.

I'll just say she knows when and when not to put on the voice

Nicely worded, although I don't suppose it will have any effect on the one or two cold Charlies.

You're making a judgement on people's intelligence by the way they speak???? She DOES speak like that! It doesn't mean she's stupid.

because it's quite clearly an act, we want to see real personalities come out not a fake one

Correct speaking like that doesn't mean she's stupid because whatever accent she spoke in she would still come across as thick

When she gets out she'll do anything they ask, whereas somone like sean would not create the publicity that stacy would for them.
It's a done deal.

Don't forget that stacy is on the itv payroll for x factor, she does that bit on extra factor where she asks opinions from the public about this years acts
They want their employee to do well, who knows there could be show after this for her lol

When you talk about "Fake Personalities" I think of the likes of, Jordan, Jodie Marsh. Stacy? I could be biased as my last post suggests, but Stacy a fake? no way, Quirky yes.

Except Stacey is very smart. Her only problem is how many people judge wrongly just by the Dagenham accent. Dom seems to have worked out the difference between what she says and what accent she says it in in hours and she has weeks to get the point over.

Jordan and Jodie are fake in respects of their appearance, but they are not fake in their personalities, stacy however is natural looks but fake personality

Indeed, and lets see whether we get Allison the broad Brummie or Allison the TV professional too.

Thats before we get to how much of Shaun and Linford is a public persona and sort out when whether Nigel is actually acting.

To be fair look at Dom Jolls entrance. How fake was that.I'm to be the pc,non controversial peacemaker.
Linford and Nigel have said and behaved in a way that if they were acting they have read the wrong script!!!!!!!!!

Having met Stacy backstage on the X Factor tour last year, I can confirm she is EXACTLY how she is in the jungle. The girl is MAD!
