I agree. I much prefer his dry wit to the screaming 'look at me' attention seekers.
I'm the age group who was there when Madchester was at it's peak so have always had a soft spot for the likes of Shaun and Ian Brown.

Spot on. How she became successful, I'll never know. She was voted out of BB after a fortnight and she'd managed to annoy the hell out of the BB audience long before that. IIRC, she used to be a holiday rep and that's about what she is good for, being loud, irritating and 'in your face'.
IMO, loud doesn't = entertaining.
