...... who are no doubt the same idiots who vote for Wagner on the X factor.

I despair, I really do.

It achieves nothing. Absolutely nothing!

Apart from spoiling our viewing pleasure, of course

Yes it now makes the programme pointless and tedious to watch. We will have the same fake drama antics with every trial and the camp just get more miserable. Watching 13 hungry miserable people round a wet campfire isn't entertaining. Gillian McKeith isn't entertaining.

It was the same tedious viewing with Jordan last year. I turned off after about 2 and didn't watch again.

Looks like I'm Outta Here very soon................

Feudal Lords actually had to be more respectful of the prolls than our current democratically elected idiots. If a feudal lord F'ed up the prolls wold rise up and dispatch them.

You can't say that.
Just because you don't want to see her do trials.
It's up to the individual.
You can't just have your own way because you don't like something that is happening and call people idiots.
So rude.
If she's not happy she can walk out anytime.
And if your not happy switch off.

i have posted this before...but..

for the 1st couple of series, for the 1st week the celebs took turns in the trials & nominated themselves...depending on what the trial sounded like. so if it involved swimming the volunteer would be someone who was a good swimmer etc...it was much fairer & gave us a chance to see all the celebs giving it a go...not watching some old harridan hog the limelight...

Not true. Feudal lords had general authority over others, and it took a LOT to unseat them. That's the point I was trying to make.

Yes I agree that would be much better.
But when it's a public vote you have to just go with it.

The history of this country proves you wrong. Afganistan would prove you right

Ah the great British reality-show voting public.

Or as I prefer to refer to them... morons.

McKeith is playing them like a violin.

I don't vote but it doesn't bother me - make her do em all, they might stop pussy footing around her and tell her a few home truths if they get hungrier

I'm sick of her pathetic drama queenery and the sooner someone lays it on the line the better. Britt has done it a bit but I'm too mesmerised by her trout pout

I CAN say that. It is merely my opinion.

If you happen to think the voting in I'm a Sleb is cool, then please be my guest. I don't have to agree.

I don't WANT to be forced into switching off - which is my whole point. Think about it.

It does, actually. Yet another war that can't be won.

I thought the person to do the trial was always down to the public vote for the first week and then the group chose once evictions had started.

I may be wrong.

I think the OP is spot on with the connection to people voting for Wagner. They're certainly not voting for entertainment value.

Roll on next week so we can see what the rest are like under pressure - which is what this show is all about.

Love the arrogance of this thread. The majority of the voters obviously do want to see her. if you dont want her doing it, vote, it's not difficult.

Yes PLEASE stop voting for her to do the trials. Her fakery is so boring, It would be much more interesting to see how someone else would cope with a trial.
And I agree, the voters are just playing into her hands - she knew from the start that 'being fragile and scared of everything' would bring in the votes. Such a shame that it's working, it would be much more satisfying to have her ignored - she would hate that.

I'm not questioning the fact that the majority of the the voters WANT to see her do a trial.

Duh.

I am questioning WHY.

If i thought that somebody was getting some entertainment value out of it I would have no complaint but I really cannot see the sense in voting a vegan to refuse to eat creatures when anybody else in the group would have been more entertaining.

And how do you know nobody here voted?

One solution would be to tell everyone in there who was in the top 3 for the trial and let them choose the winner.

I could understand people voting for Jillian if there was more to lose but it appears that even if you do well in a task you're only likely to get a crocodile foot between 5 people so it's hardly going to cause any friction.

If the meals were more proprotional to the success it may be more entertaining, e.g. 6+ stars and you'll get a really nice meal, anything less and you're getting bush meat.

At the end of the day, the starvation adds very little to the show imo but a real treat may make a difference.
