I can't make my mind up about him. I shall give him the benefit of the doubt and not judge him so soon. Time will tell - there's just something about him that doesn't sit easy with me - but I don't know what it is.
It's probably nothing - but a few more days will tell me.

I know what you mean you are not sure if he is being genuine or taking the piss.
For me he is a bit like Lesley Neilson (Naked Gun, Police Squad etc.) I am so used to him being a silly 4rse; that even when he is playing it straight I am waiting for him to do something daft.
I think that is why we all struggle to take him at face value. imho.
Dom Jolly is a very subtle p*ss taker and therefore it sometimes takes a while to realise when he's being serious. Absolutely love this guy and have to respect the fact that he really is ultra intelligent too. He makes me so much. Hope he gets to the final.

I'm in complete agreement, and wish there were more like him on TV.
He's never been afraid to take risks with his work and that's what makes him so good. He may not appeal to the moronic masses, and that's fine with me. He brings something different, and ultimately better, to the table.

This!
I'm also in complete agreement. He is clever, kind, and if he does take the mickey it's often in a sweet way that can make a person feel really special!
i really like him too.
thoroughly nice bloke whilst still managing to balance it with being a bit cheeky and funny too.
i think he's going to do well actually.
i really like that he gets stacey too. she's just a great girl.
