Not that we didn't know already.
Hope Production break up any early alliances this time!

I don't want production breaking up alliances, but I hope that the housemates are more wary of secret alliances, which I'm sure they will be, I think a lot of people could get screwed next season because of people assuming they are in secret alliances.

The hamsters seem to get progressively dumber by the batch, though.

You have to love casting sometimes. ♥ Erika

Robyn Kass has tweeted that Big Brother 13 casting will begin the "beginning of March". Presumably that means it won't be an All-Stars?

Sounds that way. I think they might make season 14 the Allstars, in keeping with a pattern.

I'm sort of hoping it'll be next year, just so they don't over-represent the shit-fest of BB12.

Confirmed that BB13 will NOT be an All Stars season, Robyn Kass posted this on Twitter:

@kellybsblover no All Stars this year.

Well, I have mixed emotions about that. On the one hand, I'm happy that BB12 will at most be represented by one member of the Brigade, Rachel and maybe Britney. On the other, thats another 14 potential people to knock Keesha and the other "maybe's" that I would like to feature out of Allstars. :\

I'm kind of glad it isn't an All Stars, which is a change from what I was feeling last year. Like you say, I think that will mean less BB12 people in it, and I have a feeling they may skip BB9 all together, or just have one person at the most.

I wouldn't worry about Keesha, I think she is one of the most likely to be involved, she was a great character, and a fan fave who won the America's Choice.

Its nice to see Julie less stiff (although I do love Chenbot!).. I keep expecting her to stand up, turn to the camera, start walking towards it and say "coming up..."

Fingers crossed it will be better than the terrible BB12...2010 was a really bad year for BB.

I'm looking forward to the show this year, I hope this year holds my interest where as the brigade ruined last year for me and Annie went too early, I didn't watch the last 2 weeks.

One of the fan sites reporting Big Brother 13 will be airing 3 nights a week this summer Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

I wonder what twist they'll have for this year? Maybe a variation on our unlucky 13th twist since it's the 13th series? Although that may be too similar to the Sabatour from last year. Maybe a haunted house theme perhaps to tie in with the number 13?

That will be the most likely schedule this year reasons being:

Sundays - Big Brother takes over The Amazing Race 8 PM timeslot

Wednesday - Big Brother always takes over Survivor's timeslot which was 8 PM

Thursday - Big Brother will take over CBS' second comedy block most likely at 8 PM. This will allow them to use "Big Bang Theory" and "Beep My Dad Says" repeats to fill in for "Two and a Half Men" since it is right now airing its repeat cycle due to the whole Charlie Sheen mess.

I wonder what twist they'll have for this year? Maybe a variation on our unlucky 13th twist since it's the 13th series? Although that may be too similar to the Sabatour from last year. Maybe a haunted house theme perhaps to tie in with the number 13?
The Sabatour was a public twist, if I recall correctly the "unlucky" HM in BB6 UK was a full fledged HM able to win. If the USA producers wanted to use this twist they would have to set secret missions and make Big Brother more of a character like the UK since the "unlucky HM" twist used a variety of secret missions. I can see them adapting this twist to the US format. Another possibility is to increase the punishments from Pandora's Box when it is opened. Such as the HoH can see the Diamond Power of Veto but instead the public can vote for who can win the DPoV and the HoH that opens Pandora's Box will be ineligible to win a PoV. (Something to that nature)
