I loved Katie as a pantomime villain, but truly disliked Sharon McAllister as a whining and manipulating ;'victim'.

I didn't think Katie was two-faced. Generally the people she disliked knew she disliked them. Adam did, for example, and if anything he took a dislike to her first. For me Kristina was vastly more two-faced.

I agree Katie was vitriolic. She had a colourful turn of phrase.

I honestly don't think I remember Syed! Was he the guy who was inexplicably saved despite some MASSIVE balls-up?

Are you thinking of the chicken pizzas where he ordered a whole chicken for each pizza? He should really have gone for that, but in fairness Alexa, who was fired instead, had been a dreadful PM.

Saira was annoying but she did have SOME redeeming features, and she's managed to make a career out of it. Same with a lot of them. The only one I really didn't like (and still don't) but remember well is Tre.

The correct answer is Jo Cameron. My god I would have quite happily slapped her across the face just to shut her up. With a belt.

Answers which were close but not quite right would be Saira Khan (even though I think she was good, she was very annoying), Michael Sophocles, Melissa Cohen (probably has the highest irritation lever:episode appearance level among all candidates) and Luisa Zissman.

I agree with you on Jo Cameron.

Sharon MacAllister from series 2 and Susan Ma from series 7 were also very annoying.

Being fair first 2 series LS could only fire one candidate per task before the semi finals, & Alexia the losing PM on that task only survived a firing for the previous task by the "make me PM i'll show you what i can do" comment so quite rightly she was fired. Think Syed would have been fired if LS was allowed multiple firings in that series though.

Samuel series 2, just excuse after excuse for failing sayed a lot longer than he should have but not as annoying as Michael Sophocles who was completely useless.

Jenny C & Katie H weren't annoying just plainly nasty, evil candidates.

I agree that they both should have gone, but if it could be only one of them, I would have chosen Syed to go over Alexa. Alexa was a weak PM, but Syed was the one who actually made the mess-up, and I think Alexa would have learned from the experience more than he would.

I'm watching series 2 now (had only ever seen a couple of episodes from it before) - dear goodness she's annoying! Right from her squealing in episode 1 when they came up with a team name (which makes Jaz's condescending "Hey! Great job on the name!" seem positively mature and professional in comparison) to her crying in episode 2 because nobody would listen to her... I'm on episode 3 now and I'm seriously tempted to just skip to whatever episode she gets booted out and watch from there! (nobody tell me when that is - I want the pleasure of watching her get axed without knowing that it's coming! I just know it's not this episode cos someone mentioned in another thread who gets fired in episode 3!)

Really? Series 2 had Jo, Nargis (really wound me up in the second task!) Sharon and Mani (maybe he gets less annoying, but he's really annoying me right now) and you're saying they were non-annoying!?!?

Without saying when she gets fired or spoiling anything really, I would just say that she grows on you over time. I think she was fired at the right time, but she's not as bad as she initially comes across. I hated her when I first watched it, but when I've watched it back she's not as bad as I remember her being, and she's gone on to be really successful since the show.

Episode 3 she is dreadful, but that is the only task (in my opinion) that I can say that she doesn't really contribute anything positive at all.

I'm watching that episode now. In fairness to him, it wasn't *quite* a whole chicken per pizza..... it was per 5 pizzas. Huge chickens.

EDIT: My mistake, you were right. He said earlier about 500 pizzas, but that was all the pizza flavours combined. Nick has just pointed out that it's a chicken per pizza. Alexa's response: "That's too many chickens...." - she's quick, that one!

As rubbish as Syed was in this task, Alexa totally deserved to go! For her maths skills alone:

Alexa: That's £9 change.
Customer: £11 change.
Alexa: Oh, sorry (open till)... I gave you 6 didn't I?
Customer: You gave me 9.
Alexa: Oh right so you need 3.
Customer: 2......

In fairness to Alexa, she'd been doing that all day. Everyone makes a screw-up like that at some point, and naturally the one that she messed up would be the one they broadcast...

I think that Syed and Alexa should both have gone, but he couldn't do double firings in those days (in fact, it's commonly believed that this task was what led him to insist on being allowed to do them in future series.) If I had to choose who to get rid of between the two though, I would have chosen Syed, as I think Alexa had more integrity and would learn more from her mistakes than Syed would.

True, but it was just the fact that she kept getting it wrong... proper head in hands moment!

We're getting a bit off-topic here though (my fault completely) - she's not up there with the annoying ones! So back to them... aside from a wee bit of dancing and going completely overboard with excitement when her team won, Jo was very quiet in this episode.....

but I'd have to say Luisa edges it.

I'm watching episode 6 at the moment (the car sales task) - the customers were trying to get away from her!
