MMS problem
Hi. I'm on Vodafone and have Sharp GX10i and when a mate sends me a Picture message from their O2 SE T630 phone, i don't get the picture, i just get a small box with a question mark in it. Yet if i then forward the the picture to E-mail, it appears fine! Help appriciated if anyone has a clue.

Not sure if related, but i have a Samsung V200 on the Vodafone network. I cannot receive picture messages, i can send them ok . Spoke to the provider Singlepoint, who unconvincingly told me that it was a known concern that Vodafone are looking into. This was weeks ago, still no joy.

I'm pretty sure that the problem isn't with Vodafone as all other MMS from other people work fine and sending them is fine too!

try getting the settings for MMS and GPRS from your service provider vodafone...... i work in o2, so dont know about voda, but this really should sort out any problems you might have, just enter all the settings in again... , it sounds to me like it is receiving the information, but not downloading to your fone... and this is a GPRS issue as the mms (through o2 anyway) uses the GPRS networks.....i would get these settings and try that, failing this, take your fone to a vodafone shop!!!!!>
have fun... and good luck.

OOps silly me. Their phone isn't O2 it's T-Mobile. And have spoken to others on T-Mobile and they seem to be having the same problems
