What's the difference between these two categories once they reach the original 10 celebrities. I'm confused. I know for Soapstar Superstar thry had several soap stars waiting in the wings just in case one of the originals had to drop out, like they did when Ben Freeman had to drop out because of the rape charges. But it's different on I'm a Celeb when there are other celebs that invade the camp afterwards as well as celebs that are on stand by.
This year Allison and Dom were seen as stand by celebs at first in case someone dropped out, (at least that is what they said in the media) then when they flew Jenny Eclair in, they said that they had flew other celebs in and Janet Street Porter talked about Ainsley Harriott and Boy George. Anyways, All 3 went on the show and no news about other celebs.
Is that it for the celebs for this series?
Last year, Was Katie Price supposed to be the only late arrival as Joe Bugner replaced Camilla? or did she count a s two people?
Was Su-Elise Nash supposed to go in in 2008?
Why did no one replace Malcolm McLaren when he dropped out in 2007? I thought also I read that Richard Fairbrass was flown in to Oz but he never appeared on the show.
I know they probably just fly by the seat of their pants and do whatever they want, however I am curious about how many celbs they get to fly to the jungle and what happens to those, if any that don't enter. Do they get invited the following year?
