I am really pleased Len has judged on the style of the dance. I really enjoyed it but he is right it did not have the foxtrot content. Should have saved it for the showdance if they get to final.

He should have scored it appropriately though. He takes four points off for choreography? Really?

showing complete lack of consistency - only cares about technique or style when it suits him
take 2 marks off by all means but four is stupid

Failed to notice Kara first few weeks but tonight she was simply out of this world
Inch perfect and has the best top half of any female yet
Wonderful wonderful

The Strictly version of AS is a made-up dance anyway - the last one to get all purse-lipped and technical about.

I've not been the biggest fan of Artem and Kara, but Len was ridiculous, idiotic even. So Anne Widdicombe gets a five, and Kara gets a six.

Len just gave Ann (with one of her worst performances yet - and that's saying a lot!) only 1 mark lower than he gave Kara (who danced fantastically). Yes, mark appropriately according to the choreograhy and things if you feel like it, but be consistent with it!

So nowLen is marking based on the purity of the choreography? Really Len?

Indeed. If he was so caring about technique & style, LaWiddybeak should have had a 1 from him.

Absolutely ridiculous. And what he said to Matt was inappropriate too.

I thought the idea was to mark the celeb on their dance improvement and how they danced what they were given?

Kara danced what she was give awesomely. The choreography is not her remit.

He gave it 1 point more than Ann's samba didn't he?? Also 2 marks less than Patsy.

I hate how he marks the pro on their choreography. I thought he might have given it an 8 or a 7 even, but a 6!?

He scored Kara & Artem 6 and then had the cheek to score Ann & Anton 5, just one point below, yet Kara's dance was sublime and Ann's, well, was that even a dance. How ridiculous

Indeed. Is she supposed to say to Artem 'Actually I think we should have more foxtrot content'?

did Anne's dance have enough of the right content to get a 5?

Fuming - I think only Ann was marked lower than Kara by him. Pathetic. Still I am hoping that people are furious (twitter was full of outraged comments) and she will get more votes.

I don't get it haven't we already had a quickstep style american smooth before? Why wasn't that a problem?

Well said.

Len was absolutely appalling tonight. He had no justification whatsoever for giving Kara anything less than an 8, and his behaviour when he was booed was just infantile.

To give Kara only 1 point more than Ann, who he overmarked as usual, is an utter disgrace. I really do think he left his personality, common sense and manners in the USA this week, because they certainly weren't present tonight.
