Minus 4 valid? Taking into consideration it is the amateur - you know the one with no knowledge or experience of specific dance technique - that is being scored and not the pro?
By all means, deduct a point and chastise the pro for failing to read the direct, but to penalise the celeb that harshly is not fair game.

I was busy getting ready before I go out, had tv in background will watch it later but if they didn't do a foxtrot then I think 6 is the maximum they should get and count themselves lucky. Alesha and Bruno are being far to populist imo overscoring with the 10's.
10 out of 10 for Tommy's singing on that one, absoloultely brilliant!
Lance was really good as well. Band rose to the occassion, good on them.

Today Ann was just tragic, nothing funny about it. And Len's hemorrhoid comment was pretty cruel, but he was in a funny mood the whole evening.

No, I am assuming 10 if a celeb performs and delivers the technique required. Len didnt criticise anything Kara did per se, he criticised the fact Artem didnt choreograph a "proper" whatever-ballroom-based AS.
Kara has no contol over the choreography and there was obviously enough hold and well-executed steps from Kara for Len to recognise a Foxtrot based AS, so why should Kara be penalised 4 points?
