The Yamada at Richer Sounds is £119 for the Region 2 version, if you jump up and down hard enough.

I've seen some Yakumo (same as the Yamada) recorders sold by a German company go for as little as £95 on ebay.

Hi All,

I bought this yesterday from Big W in Rotherham. It's fully compatible with DVD+RW, and I'm pleased with it so far.

It does only have one scart output, butI have wired mine up to my TiVo using a scart to AV adapter. Picture and sound quality is fine!

Beware though; when they scanned it, they tried to charge me £149 for it. After lots of huffing and puffing, they overrode the price to £129. Thay also have a 3 for 2 offer on DVD RW discs.
