If Matt and Rebecca go out between now and then - WAGNER will win.

Not bothered really.
I might listen to the first single from a couple of them out of interest. The rest - I've no further interest in. |

Sorry to say, but I don't really care. I cannot get invested in any of them this year.

Paije or Rebecca. They are putting in consistently (albeit unexcitingly) good performances. Also, as far as I can tell neither is seriously disliked by many people so they will attract the 'votes against' their opponents.

I'd say that Matt or Rebecca will win. Matt looks likeliest. One Direction will be shoehorned into the final but well beaten in the big vote. Matt or Rebecca will also finish third. Cowell will continue to hamstring both of them with twattish songs selections in order to squeeze one of them out of the top two. Based on last night's performances, Rebecca looks the likeliest to be vetoed in favour of the boy band. That said, if they cut her up next week as they did this, she could go even earlier. I think she's fantastic but emotionally brittle and, sadly, I think she'll fold if / once she realises they want her out.

I honestly couldnt tell you.
Smart money would be on Matt or Rebecca with a possible win by Cher or One Direction. The dark horse of the competition who could give us a surprise win would be Paije. I dont think Mary or Katie will win. The anti x factor vote would be for Wagner. Take your pick really. |

Paije - has one of the best voices - really easy to listen to. Just not a huge fan base which is a shame.
Matt - a male singing ballads, each time a male has won the XFactor and sung a ballad they've flopped. I'd like him to reunite with his band and do his own thing. Katie - she's done too much to annoy the public, and not in a good way. Rebecca - nice voice, but too under confident. Too much Leona in her. Cher - again has the kiddie fanbase but has annoyed a lot of people with her 'rapping'. Wagner - fun performances, pervy man! Mary - BGT would have been better for her. 1Direction - have the kiddie vote. They're in the final - I think they'd be the best winners in terms of progression from the show. |

I'm beginning to think she is in with a good chance now. My preferences have always been Mat or Rebecca, but neither of them have proved to be versatile, something that an X-Factor winner needs. The only acts that have shown versatility are Katie, Paije and Cher. Although the latter has only managed one successful alternative song, her rendition of John Lennon's Imagine left a lot to be desired.

If Wagner wins the show will be finished. I don't really care because I don't think any of the acts this year have the potential vocally or in terms of charisma to sell music. Joe McElderry last year was better and yet his live performance on the show a few weeks ago was disappointing.
