I missed the intro this week (I'd imagine it was Blackpool themed), but in previous weeks the voice over man has introduced the show with blurb such as "Ready to see Ann perform a Foxtrot?"

I don't recall any other contestants being singled out quite so much, but there may be a reason I particularly notice it with Ann and it is actually more common than I realise.

Possibly....but Ann is training in Newton Abbot so a lot of tooing and froing for Anton........

Yes, she could. She's proved she can survive so far, without ever being in the bottom two. Unfortunately, I think she'll be in the final.

DWTS has already announced that it is going to make changes for future series to their voting procedure after a potential winner was booted out last week & the weakest dancer has made the final. And I use the term weakest dancer deliberately (she can at least dance) - there is no way Ann could claim to be any kind of dancer.”

Thats interesting.........but it could just be taking out voting by email and text which is open to abuse I think. ...I havent read what it is so I dont know.

Has it been announced officially?

All I've seen have been comments from an 'insider' or similar?

I think the reaction to Bristol getting through is a shame. It wasn't her fault, it was the public vote, and to blame her for it isn't fair. She should be enjoying being in the final and I'm sure it's been spoiled for her. Even though she's not as good as Brandy, she's made a real effort with her dancing and has definitely improved.

If she makes the final two, we can all vote 'against' her winning by voting for whoever the other is. I don't think she will win.

I'ts the dupe Mark Linsey that booked her in the first place and the fact she is having all this advertising is taking the mickey. The advertising of keeping her in and pr is going to have to stop and people had better consider that it's a competition.

I think she could win, as people must have more money than sense to keep voting for her, as she cannot dance, she does not even look good and she has gone beyond being funny now, as it was funny the first week, but not any longer. She has just become a floor buffer now, as all Anton does is spin her round whilst she buffs the dance floor.

It is a joke that she is still there, as at least John Sergeant had the good grace to quit after a few weeks. I think if she had any other partner they would have advised her to quit with good grace, but Anton is so fame hungry and loves to be in front of a camera, that he is probably encouraging her to carry on.

I hope not I know entertainment value is important but personally I don't find her funny. I love the dancing and ann can't dance!

Supporters of Felicity, Gavin, Patsy, not sure if they have been voting for their favourites or voting against the 3 frontrunners on principle. If it is the latter then they may continue as they started, swinging behind underdog Ann.

AW's performance cannot get any more painful than the canary samba. If even after that display plus intentionally(?) unflattering VT editing she still soared above the competition then she could be totally unstoppable over the next 5 weeks. She could get her hands on the glitterball -- end of Strictly.

Sadly, I suspect you are right. The GBP will have 100% say in the final and they obviously want this graceless, arrogant non dancer to triumph so that they can stick two fingers up to the judges and the BBC.

Nothing personal, but I actually think Anne voters are now spoiling this series for the rest of us who like dance

There is no evidence her fan base is especially huge, just big enough to see off celebs with low fan-bases. All the departures over the last few weeks have been consistent with her third place in the alleged leaked figures. She's probably getting fewer votes than Matt and Scott, and possibly now Kara. She'll likely see off Patsy and Gavin, and Pamela is a bit at risk.

Absolutely. It will be the end of Strictly and I hope those who are still trying to champion this completely untalented woman who has no intention of doing the dances properly will be happy.

It's the dupe Mark Linsey that booked her, next year I hope they don't pick a similair figure as it would make it a farce.

I completely agree and have made this point before in other threads. This is what happens when you give the vote entirely to the public. The people recording the number of phone votes will have a clear idea how far Ann will go but I think she will around for a few weeks yet.

I can't believe this - the casual Saturday voter isn't going to be concocting some scheme of supporting Patsy or Gavin as a protest against Scott, Kara or Matt. Scott's support at least has been tested by him being in the bottom two on the judges' leaderboard.

If she sees of Pamela or Kara then I dont think I could watch it anymore.

I actually have no idea who is voting for her - every single person i've spoken to about Strictly thinks the woman is a joke.
