Hi
Cancelling my Freeview SS1 Top up tv sub.
I have a BT business broadband line that work pay for but to get BT vision i need to add a home broadband line with my home phone line.
Will this cause issues, having 2 diff BT broadband lines in one house? Or will it make no difference?
Cheers
Rich

As long as you have 2 separate phone lines (so 2 phone numbers) it won't be a problem. You can have the business broadband on one line, and the home broadband on the other line.

Just be aware you can't have 2 ADSL products on the same line.

Hi snitchy. Why?
Well, I'm no expert on the matter I just know it's not possible. It's something to do with the way the broadband is delivered down the phone line. Your phone line will have been split to allow voice and data, and so only 1 data product can be delivered at once. It's why when you want to change ADSL suppliers you need a MAC code to switch, which releases you from your old provider and puts you onto the new supplier.

I'd suggest googling if you want to know more :P
