We cant be back to two dances across the board because they could only do that this week because none of them had done Samba or American Smooth.......so they have got to be a bit mixed up.

Week 12 - 18th Dec (Final) - 2 repeat dances + Showdance

OR
Maybe the repeated dances will be semi final night?:

1 dance next week (week 9), 2 week 10, 3 week 11 (inc 2 repeats) and 2 dances yet undone in the Final for a change

”

OR...(as I suggested earlier)
Week 9 - 27th Nov - 1 unlearned dance
Week 10 - 4th Dec - 2 unlearned dances
Week 11 (semi final) - 10th/11th Dec - 3 unlearned dances
Week 12 (final) - usual

The show on 27th is the same length as last Saturday's - surely not enough time for two routines each...

The dances each couple have left are:

Ann and Anton - American Smooth, Viennese Waltz, Argentine Tango, Cha Cha, Cha, Jive and Rumba

Gavin and Katya - Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Argentine Tango, Jive, Samba and Charleston

Kara and Artem - Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Jive, Rumba and Samba

Matt and Aliona - Waltz, American Smooth, Tango, Jive, Salsa and Paso Doble

Pamela and James - Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Argentine Tango, Samba, Paso Doble and Charleston

Patsy and Robin - American Smooth, Foxtrot, Tango, Argentine Tango, Rumba and Paso Doble

Scott and Natalie - American Smooth, Foxtrot, Argentine Tango, Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble and Charleston

I think Kara's probably got the best draw left. Gavin's got some v difficult dances left and Patsy still got both tangoes!

Well in that case it could be two dances a week til the final and two dances across the board every week because there's not one couple who has a dance to do that another couple doesn't have a dance still to do. If that makes sense lol.

Do you think they would do that to the celebs after just 1 week of 2 dances?

Kara has a really good selection left, especially want to see her Viennese Waltz, Rumba, and Tango.

One can only pray that Gavin survives long enough to do the AT. The performance itself would doubtless be forgettable (at best), but the build-up to Craig's comments and their ultimate delivery would be worth 90 seconds behind the sofa!

Argentina are quite good at rugby these days, so maybe Katya can weave in some more rugby ball themed "steps" and remain true to the spirit of the dance.

And I say this as a fan of his this year!

Doesn't teas normally say when they have two dances to do?

Radio Times advance listings now have Week 10 as Movie Week, and lasting just an hour.

Perhaps they are being let off two dances a week this year then as well as no group dances. I hope not because two dances really tests them and quite right too.

They still do 2 dances towards the end on DWTS by the way just incase people want to blame them for that.

So a rather tight squeeze for 12 dances (6 couples at 2 dances each). Not impossible but tight.

I wonder about the double semi-final show... There will be 5 couples left and in theory they could do 2 dances each on each night but surely that would be So maybe they will be doing new dances in the final?

It's only fair that they all do all the dances, and with 6 still to do it's really mind boggling how they are going to fit that in. I'm rather

And not as tight as you might think as each couple will have 2 dances but only 1 VT, so it is possible.

As for all the various permutations, how about this one:

week 9: 1 new dance
week 10 (QF): 2 new dances
week 11 (SF): 2 new dances
week 12 (Final): 1 new dance (perhaps in dance-off to the same song like Matt DA and Alesha did in the s5 final), 2 repeated favourite dances and showdance.

If you look at the SCD official site, I get the impression that they won't dance two dances in one week until the semi-finals in Week 11.

The semis are over three nights with everyone dancing on the Friday and Saturday nights and then the results on Sunday.

What do you think?

It does look like 2 dances only in the semis. So maybe no one will be doing Samba and American Smooth again? This would leave 5 dances still to do for each couple, and we may well have 2 new dances in the final.

Stll very much

Buddy, if Widdy-pants is still dancing it'll be three nights too long!

I'll be annoyed if that's the case. It was bad enough last year when finalists Chris and Ricky hadn't danced Rock n Roll or Charleston respectively.

Samba is one of the five "proper" latin styles, so I really hope they don't miss that out...

Ann/Anton ~ rumba
Gavin/Katya ~ jive
Kara/Artem ~ ?
Matt/Aliona ~ ?
Pamela/James ~ charleston
Patsy/Robin ~ ?
Scott/Natalie ~ ?

So do I, I want to see Kara & Artem's samba! But I fear it may be the case of last year charlestons and rock and rolls
