It's annoying to have couples doing the same dance in a week where there's potential for them to mix it up a bit more, that's true.

So...two jives, a charleston and a hilarious rumba. So far it sound like Lorelei's TV heaven. To finish it off, I'd like a paso from Matt, an AS from Scott and a tango from Patsy, please, nice SCD producers

Good news! Really looking forward to Pamela's Charleston and can make the tea during Gavin's Jive.............

Why do they keep doing this? If every other couple have individual dances why is there always a duplicate in the bunch?

I know its very odd.......In week 6 both Gavin and Patsy had the Cha Cha Cha when everyone else was different.

Well - just going through who hasn't done what

Patsy may have the tango
Scott may have foxtrot
Matt may have Waltz

So as far as a leaderboard is concerned I'll take a guess at this

Matt and Aliona 7 + 7 =14
Scott and Natalie 6 + 6 = 12
Kara and Artem 5 + 3 = 8
Patsy and Robin 4 + 2 = 6
Gavin and Katya 3 + 4 = 7
Pamela and James 2 + 1 = 3
Ann and Anton 1 + 5 =6

oh dear I fear for Gavin then if he is going to be compared to Kara, she should do a great jive & whatever he does hes never going to match up

Patsy will not be that high up with her tango, she's not great in hold. Can't see Pamela being lower than Gavin either. But who knows?

He has had a fair bit of practice at kicking in his career though hasn't he

I don't think Pamela will do well with the Charleston - it's technique is very close to the jive - and we saw what happened there

that’s true & he was quite good at the quickstep but I still think hes gonna have it tough this week

I dont think Pamela will be that bad at the Charlston its not so structured as the jive and there are lifts and James can make it fun. Unless she has a disaster she will be above Patsy and Gavin.

That is far, far too low for Pamela, and where is the evidence to say she's ever been near the bottom of the public vote that would mean she'll get the least votes on Saturday? I doubt that will be the case at all. The Charleston isn't close enough to jive to make much difference, the technique is different and her low jive score was down to mistakes. There's absolutely no way of telling whether she'll be bad at the Charleston purely based on her jive - on the contrary, she acted the jive brilliantly, and that's key to the Charleston.

Gavin, on the other hand, has yet to do a good Latin, and if Patsy has the tango I think she may be very wobbly...

Maybe they thought Gavin would be gone by week 6, hence the sudden duplication.
