Wagner's presence is the judges fault!
For all of you dweebs who complain about how Wagner is a joke, etc etc. Just remember that out of tens of thousands of applicants, the judges decided that Wagner was one of the best to go on the show. Do you REALLY think he was picked out of ALL THOSE PEOPLE because of his SINGING ability? Of course not - he was picked because they wanted a joke/novelty act, and in Wagner they got a fantastic one.
In short, anyone who complains about Wagner not being able to sing totally misses the point of him being in the "competition" in the first place. |

Which makes it blatantly obvious that Simon Cowell knew there would be another "piss simon off" campaign and decided to cash in on it yet again.
But obviously the Wagner "fans" aren't buying in to his manipulation tactics.

Glad someone has finally picked up on this! The people to blame for the abomination that is Wagner are the judges for putting him through in the first place. And make no mistake, they knew exactly what they were doing. Wagner is at best a novelty act and they probably thought they could get a few weeks fun out of him before the voting public saw sense and booted him out. Boy did they make a major miscalculation! The public are tired of their manipulation and it's payback time with knobs on! If Wagner wins, and it's now a real possibility, I would suggest that the X Factor as we have come to know it is screwed.

![]() The only way to really make a point is by not voting, not watching and not buying tickets to any of the shows. |

Not really though. Simon's already made enough money off the show and tour to pay for the recording contract. Wagner will just flop and Simon will throw all his effort into supporting other acts that will earn him more money!

They give Wagner fantastic slots every week and make sure he is always in the press. The whole thing is fixed, they will get rid of him by not leaking so much information to the media and maybe putting him on first.

If Wagner wins any little credibiliy this show has left will be lost forever. That is far more damaging than "sales".

It's a mainstream show to find a mainstream pop act to fit the mainstream media that appeals to mainstream society. Now don't get me wrong, pop music serves it's purpose and can be done well and widely appreciated but it's never been know for true musical talent or artistic integrity, has it? |

But I would agree with you about pop in the last 10-15 years tho. |

Exactly, all of the judges apart from Dannii put him through. They only have themselves to blame.

Well I for one an extremely grateful that they did put him through. He's made the X Factor worth watching this year.

Michael Jackson? Just at the top of my head.
But I would agree with you about pop in the last 10-15 years tho. In a world where we have guitar legends such as Jimi Hendrix and Santana, Amazing vocalists like Janis Joplin and Frank Sinatra, Operatic talent like Pavarotti, Classical music like Vivaldi, Beethoven or Handel and international superstars like Metalica and Bon Jovi, you're gonna nominate Michael Jackson? Really?

It is the judges' fault - the last wild card standing.

You said pop music. The above don't class as pop music....maybe Bonjovi, but I don't like Bonjovi.

Yes but when you compare even the best pop artists to real music you can see the lack of talent and integrity, picking the best out of a single genre is like picking the least smelling turd from a cesspit IYSWIM
